mrpibb Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 I've been thinking about buying a two tone sub for a long time.. Which do you prefer the Black Dial or the Blue Dial? Thanks...
ubiquitous Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 The real question is... Which do *you* prefer? It will, afterall, be on your wrist Personally speaking, I like the blue... But if it's black, it's gotta be a serti...
By-Tor Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Difficult question. It's like choosing between "Pepsi" or "Wine/black" GMT Master. Both are nice, but I prefer the blue dial on the TT Sub.

hiker01 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Blue!!! http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=76359&hl=
Noel Fleischer Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 BLACK!!!!! I think BLUE.just ordered one from BK
munk Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 The real question is... Which do *you* prefer? It will, afterall, be on your wrist Personally speaking, I like the blue... But if it's black, it's gotta be a serti... Yes i agree black with serti is nice
b16a2 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 I think the blue and gold is the nicest comobination, whereas in basic steel, the black is the nicest.
hambone Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Funny thing, I prefer the blue two tone Rollie sub, and early on it was my favorite watch. For some reason though I never got a Rolex, but if I did, it would be that very watch in blue. Classic design
dieselpower Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 The blue works with the gold really well. But TT subs are hideous
StormTooper4 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 I've been thinking about buying a two tone sub for a long time.. Which do you prefer the Black Dial or the Blue Dial? Thanks... Guy I worked with had a black gen, it was an awesome looking watch
ironmarshal Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Both are nice, but the black with serti is a killer look, and less common than the others.
freddy333 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 The blue works with the gold really well. But TT subs are hideous Diesel, you took the words right out of my mouth.
chronology1066 Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Blue, they look nice, more classy than the black by lots but its been years now and I still can't find one with a good colour match on dial and bezel (2 much prince purpleness)
dieselpower Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Freddy333, what can I say. You are a class act.
dluddy Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 I've never been a fan of TT subs. There are certain watches that can pull off TT but the classic SUB is not one IMO I like Black better....something about Blue and Gold just doesn't do it for me. This, however, works in TT:
magagne Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Get both Get both, cuz one of them, you will not satisfied. After settle down, when your preference will be fixed, sell one of them (if you want) or keep both. You talk about buying GEN watch isn't ? [joke]
AllergyDoc Posted June 20, 2008 Report Posted June 20, 2008 Blue. Who can resist that deep blue dial? Wardrobe wise (for those of us that think of such things), I think the black is more versatile.
Terje Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Blue. It`s the contrast between the gold and the blue that does it for me. A black dial sub might as well be an SS if you ask me.
prado123 Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 I will say Blue. I ordered today a TT BKMariner Blue from BK.
triosLescano Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 I've been thinking about buying a two tone sub for a long time.. Which do you prefer the Black Dial or the Blue Dial? Thanks... Blue because all others rlx reps have black dial..............
