freddy333 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 ___________ Admin - I wish you would switch the text 'Goto first unread' links in the menus back to the icons. It may seem counter-intuitive, but the icons were MUCH easier to read.

freddy333 Posted September 15, 2008 Author Report Posted September 15, 2008 Lani - I know you described it somewhere, but I cannot find where you explained how you added that brownish color to your dial? Can you tell me what you used?
Stephane Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 I will probably wear this for a while Amazing watch. The design is pefect in my humble opinion. And it looks way better on the wrist in the flesh even! Now I know why you collect these Freddy
lanikai Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Lani - I know you described it somewhere, but I cannot find where you explained how you added that brownish color to your dial? Can you tell me what you used? this is a Ziggy lume redial.. adding the faded bezel insert brings it out even more IMO.. the pearl is acrylic.. and as Ziggy relumed one of them .. from the back, I tried the same thing .. by removing the lume with a tiny drill bit and a pin then adding wood stain to the cavity

I mean the black portions of the dial itself. It looks like it has a brown or reddish tint in some areas. Like it was sprayed with a fine mist of brown paint or something like that.
freddy333 Posted September 15, 2008 Author Report Posted September 15, 2008 Stephane - Is the '90' in your 6263's tachymeter scale (bezel insert) slanted sideways (sitting at a different angle than all the other numbers) or does it just look that way in the picture?
Stephane Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Stephane - Is the '90' in your 6263's tachymeter scale (bezel insert) slanted sideways (sitting at a different angle than all the other numbers) or does it just look that way in the picture? Great find Freddy. It is indeed printed in a different angle.
