KB Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Funny thing is I, nor any of my friends, have seen Australia yet (for the uninformed we are talking of the movie) and none of us have plans to see it either. Ken
Sylar Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Another yeat another dollar. Congrats to everyone that has built this forum to what it is today. Here is to many more years to come.
phaedo Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Funny thing is I, nor any of my friends, have seen Australia yet (for the uninformed we are talking of the movie) and none of us have plans to see it either. Ken That would be a +1 unless I hear Nicole Kidman gets her kit off.
greg_r Posted March 8, 2009 Author Report Posted March 8, 2009 'greg_r' is 'cakemaster' and I collect my $5.
trailboss Posted March 9, 2009 Report Posted March 9, 2009 Just like to add my best wishes to what Greg said (been on a Fire Service course all weekend). Many, many happy returns guys. Whithout the generosity of TT's in allowing us to foul up his bin for those weeks when we had no home RWG1.1 would not exist so we owe you guys our all. You are right, even in the year or so I have been here this place has changed a hell of a lot. It is not the same place it was then, it's imesurably better! Arguably this place is no longer strictly a rep forum, it's a lot more than that. It's more of a hybrid of gen and rep forum, something that has never been seen before so you are breaking new ground here folks. I see no reason there will not be many more birthdays for RWG2 thanks to the blood, sweat and, I'm shure at times tears shed by your admin team here. You owe a huge debt to those keep this great place up and running and don't you EVER forget it. Best wishes and kind regards, Col. RWG1.1 Team.
Nanuq Posted March 7, 2018 Report Posted March 7, 2018 HAPPY BIRTHDAY RWG!!! Just for fun, here's the earliest entry I can find on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine... how we've changed over the years! http://web.archive.org/web/20060411092317/http://www.rwg.cc:80/members/ 2
kernow Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Wow, a blast from the past. There are quite a few names there that have stood the test of time and are still around today. And, the old format is very ‘noughties’. 1
kernow Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 I bet @Nanuqwas young and good looking back then, @Mike on a bike was probably still in short trousers and @Legend was not even a twinkle in his fathers eye! 1

kernow Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Oh indeed mate. Still, I’ve been here nearly 5 years now so will soon be out of short trousers myself.
