jmarin.72 Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 First of all...DOMENICO rocks!!! he is a great watchmaker,i would recomend his services to all EU members Slick if you are located in EU i do not think that shipping will be to much of a trouble since there is no customs worries. I have been shipping back and forth to Domenico a lot of times and i had never faced any kind of troubles. In fact i have shipped a lot of watches all over the world and never came across not a single loss.I always mail my watches through regular postal services and never through courrier services. But this is only according to my experience,i do not know what i would do if i had some fine rear timepieces such as yours John
slickdick Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Im EU based, i know customs wil not be a problem. Theft meybe. How you describe the goods, and what about insureance.
rosnik Posted November 10, 2009 Author Report Posted November 10, 2009 I suggest you to use one safe courier service ( NOT DHL like!!! ), It's expensive, but you'll be sure of your shipping . About Domenico.........this time during is in Italy for some day journey trip, so he can get replay only when back home.

rosnik Posted November 10, 2009 Author Report Posted November 10, 2009 Does anybody have any pics or links of examples of the AR please. Do you sow upper pages on this 3D?
PeteM Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Do you sow upper pages on this 3D? Sorry mate but that doesnt make any sense to me, I cant even guess to be honest.
rosnik Posted November 10, 2009 Author Report Posted November 10, 2009 Ok, you are new and welcome . that's a A/R example. I'm in accord that USA Craif will be better , but this is the best we can have in EU, and on the last time the Domi's A/R was improved too.

Despite people being spoilt by The Chiefs AR this seems to me a very good alternative considering the reduced risk for us EU members. Also I understand Domi is looking to improve/strengthen the AR finish/quality - would that be correct?
rosnik Posted November 10, 2009 Author Report Posted November 10, 2009 No, He Improved jet. The first attempt of some mouths ago, was not like now. Now , you can see pictures, it's good and at the right price.
oberblender Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 About Domenico.........this time during is in Italy for some day journey trip, so he can get replay only when back home. so he's in italy at the moment? so I guess thats why I can't get in touch with him at the moment... I was already getting worried, since he normally always replies quite fast...

Marky1012 Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 Me too. Timely and good quality and great value. Doesn't get better than that. Recomended.
Star69 Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Pictures are welcome...... okay - here is one from me : Italians only love 5 things in life : Mama, Ferrari, Pasta, Pizza and Panerai  so Domenico was very kind to my watch - he suggested even to flatten and polish the CP - didn't expect that polishing this little nipple makes such a difference : (watch was there for dial, crown, cg swap...) cheers, Frank
rosnik Posted December 7, 2009 Author Report Posted December 7, 2009 Star, do you lose " Belle Donne! "
PeteM Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Hi Just want add my pennies worth. Just got my watches back from Domi, a couple were just maintenance. But one was a swap dial for gen and relume hands and pearl plus waterproof and full service. My SA. I am really pleased with the work, Domi was very communicative (in his way ) and done a great job. Dont get me wrong he is not the cheapest guy out there but you certainly get what you pay for with Domi and he is well worth the money. So if your looking for a great watch guy in the EU then Domi is your man without doubt. And also a very big thankyou to Rosnik, you know what you did and for that I thank you. A really stand up guy!!!! :thumbsupsmileyanim:
andygt Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 I'm looking to send a DW 6263 for a dial swap - sending from the UK so does anyone have any advice with regards to posting to avoid any problems?
