  1. For all my fellow petrol heads. We took delivery of our new Kawasaki H2's this week and decided to have a bit of fun with some photos. The Aston on the left is my DBS as you know along with my H2 and the Vanquish on the right is my Business Partnes next to his H2. What a lucky couple of F....ers! AJ

  2. Hi again, Guys. O.K. So having done the obligatory newbie intro' thing: rwg.cc/topic/180001-another-newbie-or-at-least-new-to-this-arena Guess what ? I need to ask some help, please. Although I will admit to having bought a few decent quality Breitling Chronomat replicas (mostly Miyota OS20 quartz powered) in the early 1990's, nowadays I tend to avoid replica watches like the plague .... especially when it comes to working on them. I've fixed quite a few non-Seiko 7Axx watches for people at work, changing batteries; capacitors; swapping movements, etc.. Word gets around. I guy I've recently become friendly with, dumped an assortment on me a few weeks ago: An ETA-powered Calvin Klein quartz chrono; an old Seiko 7N42; a Seiko 5M22 in need of capacitor change .... and I suspect what was a fairly cheap auto Omega Seamaster 007 replica (is it acceptable to use the f*k* word on here ?) The hour / minute hand (mis)alignment on it was diabolical. He asked me if I could reset the hands. Notta problem says I confidently. So this afternoon, I pulled and reset the hands - did a pretty good job of it (anything would have been an improvement). Plopped the movement back into the case, but couldn't get the stem to go back in. Probably pushed a bit too hard on the spring-loaded screw-down crown and managed to bend the tip of the stem. Took it back out again, tried to straighten it and it broke ! Now I really don't want to give it back to him saying 'Sorry Mate', but .... So if I was to post photos, would anybody be willing to help try identify the movement (it looks pretty cheap and nasty to me) - and point me in the direction of a suitable replacement stem please ?

  8. Guys unfortunately the Admin team got word from members and other boards on two of our members and they will no longer be able to long on to RWG. Schildking and Baleinedessable King for selling rep straps as OEM already Banned on Geek for this and warned by Chrono 24 for same. Baleinedessable for selling non-phong cases as Phong and other parts not as stated. He is on Phongs fraud list. This was discussed by the staff but the job was left to yours truly to inform my fellow members. As you are aware I take the burden of proof on such things very seriously so rest assured due process was followed.

  10. Changed up, this just came from Matt. Interesting that with a gen case and end links took some work to get a good fit. Just a timeless classic IMHO.
