  1. From the Factory: Just arrived from the Southern SPA: Relumed and AR'ed......... and the Lume shot: Pressure tested to 10ATM! J's work is always impeccable......his AR Service is amazing, I just wish he does the Date Mag X-TAL, too! IMHO; it has to be done on this watch! and here's the twist......I ordered a GEN APDiver Rubber Strap for it.......some comparison shots: Top is REP: Bottom is REP: Side by side: Gen is on the RIGHT...... Another Tell is the groove....the Gen comes to an end while the Rep flows out..... The REP Manufacturers have done an excellent job on their strap....it's pretty close, and you have to have it side-by-side to tell the difference as you can see from the pictures. The Telltale signs from the outside is the density of the Rubber Material. If you look at it sideways, the thickness is also noticeable....the REP is slightly thicker. The feel is also different, the GEN is stiffer and seems tougher than the Rep. Some people might actually prefer the REP due to it's softness and pliability. Is it worth the $200+shipping cost, maybe? At least you know you have at least half of a GEN on your wrist!

  4. Seller has ZERO feedback. Looks like a hodge podge of accessories. Pac-Man called, he wants his Wok-a-Wok-a-Wok-a back. I suspect someone is going to be out $4k.

  5. When I was younger, living in New England I owned a Morgan 4/4 roadster that my wife once described the heater in as : "Like a little old lady breathing on your ankles" AFAIK, my cars now all have heaters, but I must admit I've never really tried to turn one of them on....

  8. I find it interesting that the rep factories got the rep so close, and then went and reversed the grooves on the 2 parts of the strap. Gen grooves flow on the long end, and close on the short end; reps are the opposite.

  9. Hello, how are you? Allow me to relate to you a few things regarding the DSSD replica scene. There are two factories making high quality DSSD replicas right now. They are called: 1) Noobfactory DSSD 2) "unknown factory" so we call this one the TrevorTime DSSD after the dealer who brought this watch to the Forums "market" Fun Fact: These two models of DSSD can be available in Asia 21j movement, Swiss Clone, Genuine Swiss, and Asia 3135 look-alike movements. The watch movement sets the price range, but otherwise the case, dial, and crystal, etc, are the same for each available movement. Did you know: There is a third option for buying a DSSD ... a trusted watch modder on the Forums (BKLM1234 is his nickname) sells a reworked Noobfactory DSSD with his QC process and a custom date wheel said to be more like the genuine. DSSD watches from these two factories range from $98 to $400++ depending on the movement inside or modifications specified. Again, I stress that the actual watches are the same and the movement inside the watch accounts for the difference in price. In my opinion, the TrevorTime factory has dropped the ball over the last two years, and not updated their watch at all, whereas the NoobFactory continues to update it's DSSD to the current day. If you want the most accurate DSSD replica, and cost is not a problem, then I suggest a BK modified DSSD with a full Super-Luminova re-lume of the dial and hands. If you are not ready to spend in that price range, then a common Noobfactory DSSD with an asian ETA clone movement is probably what you need. One last thing .. the Puretime v6 is Noobfactory, and the Puretime v7 is the Trevortime model and the price he is asking for those two watches is quite good.
