  1. Absolutely waiting. Not just for the dial combo the other dealers don't have but also the rather shady hands and the obvious lack of AR . I've been wanting a Chronomat Evolution rep for a very long time now. But I'm forcing myself to be patient. I want the best I can get on this one. I just don't feel the ones our current dealers carry is really up to par.
  2. Same here. I can't get Neil to respond.
  3. Version looks good but the AR still looks hard to see which I could live with but the hands are just plain wrong. Maybe Angus's version will be right.
  4. ARGGHHHH. The new version Josh is loading has the correct bracelet and fast beat movement but the hands are the wrong color!
  5. Josh from Perfect Clones appears to be loading up pics of a better version with correct bracelet and new fast beat movement now! Still looks like AR but looks nice from first glance. The bracelet and movement were the biggest hold ups for me! We shall see we shall see! Angus' predictions seem to be correct so far!
  6. Yes this model has the new 28,800bph movement as well but the bracelet is still wrong. Edit to add: It appears they all may have the fast beat movement.
  7. Tonights the night! Going to see it after work.
  8. Also the chrono pushers have the wrong screw stops on them. The new released version has beveled edges. The gen and the PT version shows them as square. Just a thought. Not a huge flaw but worth mentioning.
  9. The bracelet only has 1 screw per link. The gen should have two. Dead give away. Also a characteristic of Gen 1 while Gen 2 should be more accurate.
  10. Pushers are that way I suppose because they screw down like a Daytona or 187 rep. The watch is nice except it needs AR. I also heard it has the old A7750 movement inside. If you want to install an ETA 7750 this is good news though. Other flaw is the bracelet is a bit off..
  11. Yeah I saw but hoped he would reconsider
  12. Can't tell from the pics but if it houses the newest A7750 (28,800 bph) then I would buy the black version. I like how they finally turned the date font in the right direction. Can you confirm the movement Neil? Is it the 21,600bph or 28,800bph model A7750? Thanks
  13. Can't wait until Friday!!! Till then.... Enjoy!
  14. White dial with blue markers for me! And sorry but I'm one of those jerks that would rather have running seconds at 9 with the new Asian 7750 28800bph movement. After seeing the problems with the Portugese and the Daytonas I'd rather have reliability and durability over 100% accuracy on the layout. I'll never walk into an AD with this rep nor is there even an AD for AP anywhere near my home. I've got a 28800bph daytona with seconds at 9 and I love it. I had the Big Bentley model with running seconds at 9 and thought it was an absolutely amazing rep. Afterall 99% of the people that see this watch will have no idea what it is and I seriously doubt they would even notice if they did. Either way the watch will be a real stunner! A true beaut. And of course I don't try to pass my reps off as gens anyway! Just remember guys. We've been asking for a Royal Oak Chrono rep for a long time with automatic movement. Now are we really going to nitpick if the movement can't be reworked without mechanical issues? I'm really happy to see the new reps being produced. First I hear there may be a Chronomat Evo released soon. Then I see the Chopard which will be in my collection very soon. And then the Royal Oak Offshore surfaces! I also hear there will be a Hublot Big Bang out soon too! Wow! I'm amazed! And I'm going to be broke really soon!
  15. I would almost rather them re-arrange the subdial like they did on the large Bentley rep. From a distance the dial would appear accurate but most importantly the movement would be reliable, at least if it has the newer 7750b1 movement. We've seen what happens with the Daytonas and the negative reviews of the IWC Portugese reps. I'd just assume they leave it be and sort the dial out properly. I had the Big Bent and loved it. Didn't care one bit about the dials being laid out incorrectly. I'm never going to walk into an AD and hold it side by side a gen. I also own a Daytona rep that has seconds at 9 even though its obviously a Post 2000 model. But I'm very happy with it and don't doubt it every time I push the start button on the chrono. Hands down I'd rather have my $200-300 last me several years as opposed to making an accurate looking paper weight / door stop. Just my 2 cents. I'm excited about this and the other new reps that might be on the horizon soon! The Chopard looks very nice and I've even heard that their may be a 7750 based Chronomat Evolution in our near future!
  16. You guys know I've been waiting for this one. I've posted numerous threads requesting it! I can't wait to see it!
  17. I'm very excited about the film. I went to the movies last week and was able to pick up a couple free posters for the film at no charge . I won't try to download it though. I'm going to wait and go see it on opening night here. I'm a stickler for picture and audio quality. It would ruin it for me to watch it first off the net.
  18. Opened it up last night. Can't see a fix for it without removing the chronograph layer of the movement. Not in my skill level what so ever. The 12 hour subdial resets fine at any time when you push the bottem pusher. It just will not brake. It restarts as soon as it is reset. So my chrono can still be used to time things just can't stop for intervals and restart to keep time for long periods of time. EL offered a partial refund so I went that route. Other wise the watch is spectacular. I'll post pics when I get a chance. Thanks for all the replies!
  19. I'm hoping the prototype has the fake hex screws and the final version will have the real ones. Andrew and Josh are saying its a "1:1" copy like the original so hopefully they didn't overlook this detail.
  20. I recieved a beautiful Navitimer World from EL today. No issues except that I noticed the 12 hour subdial at the 6 o'clock position runs even when the chronograph is not activated. It will reset but only starts back again. Anyone know if this is an easy fix or if the watch needs to be sent back? Thanks, Jon
  21. Richard, I read back through and found the price. Didn't realize this thread had been going that long. Sheesh. I've contacted EL to complete my purchase. Just waiting for his instructions now. Can't wait to see this beauty!
  22. RBJ, It's 45mm w/ 22mm lugs not 24mm. I've thought about selling my 4th gen 42.5mm PO to fund the purchase of one of these but I don't think the AR coating is as good as the 4th gens just yet.
  23. So forgive me if I'm just dumb. But I'm on EL's list. How much am I supposed to pay?
