  1. Chief, Put me down for 1 but I may need up to 3. I'm assuming as long as we get commitments to 20 a few more shouldn't be a problem? Just got the one watch on hand and the other two are in transit and I'm unsure as to the status of their crystals from the factory.
  2. AWE FREAKING SOME! Thanks for the quick pics Pug! Mine is in Cali right now hope to have it tomorrow! And I've got a gen buckle on order as we speak! Wear it well!
  3. Slow here too but I agree if it has to be it has to be.
  4. Looks like a SOSF Bezel, a Brushed Steel Avenger Case, and a new dial color combo. I'd love to see this repped.
  5. Keep em coming Neil these are great pics!
  6. Every collector has to have at least one. I've sold the 16610 but still have the LV. Actually wore it today and told a friend I'd forgotten how great a watch it is to wear. So comfortable you almost forget its there. Great tool watch for sure! Cheers! and
  7. I just contacted silix. If need be I'll order 4 myself and sell the other three on the boards. I await his email. I'll keep you guys posted. Who got in on the first list and I'll start my own? Thanks again guys!
  8. Great work! I love my PO Chrono and hope to have it on a rubber strap very very soon! Jon
  9. Please do. If he can't looks like we might be able to round up 4 more. I never have customs issues here I'd be happy to host the second group. Can't wait to see this strap on my PO Chrono! Happy Easter fellas
  10. Anyone else interested in doing this?
  11. Thats a beauty. Almost pulled the trigger on one when River had them so cheap.
  12. Wow this filled up amazingly fast. How'd I miss out I have 3 crystals that need the coating.
  13. I wouldn't even sweat the date. Happens on the gens too. Great watch! Thanks for sharing!
  14. Good information. I saw this movement in some dealer pics about a month ago. Can't remember which listing though. I think it was over at RWI. Anyone know if the hands are the same size as the 2824? Also are the winding stems the same? Could be a relatively inexpensive and simple movement swap couldn't it?
  15. When you start the next run count up do keep us updated. The work you've done is greatly appreciated!
  16. I second that motion! Great watch. If you decide to sell it I'm sure it won't last long on the boards.
  17. I got one of the new breit straps from Angus and I was actually very impressed. I've got it on my Bent GT with an aftermarket double deployant clasp. Quality is much better than I expected on the leather. As for the clasp seems good but I like the deployants better.
  18. The "He" valve is a bit low, the case back is a bit too deep, and the bracelet uses screws instead of pins. Some have clasp issues as well but all in all I think the current SMP reps are excellent for the money. I actually let mine go to a good friend a couple of weeks ago because it never got worn. I prefer the SMP Chrono which I wear quite often. As for the new Co-Axial Movement SMP I do hope they rep it soon. Even with the above listed flaws I would still purchase. The red on the spices it up just enough for me. Plus its an excellent choice if you want a sporty watch but would like to wear it with a suit or dress shirt. It fits so close and comfortably to your wrist. Not to mention its of course the watch that Bond prefers! Cheers! Edit: Oh yeah yeah yeah forgot to add the bezel pearl on the SMP is off. The bezel pearl on the SMP Chrono is excellent. If they could add that to the new SMP I would be even more delighted!
  19. Compared my Ultimate BCE to a Gen yesterday. The concentric circles are definitely there on the rep but don't appear quite as noticable. Also noticed a few other minor things. The bezel markers at 12,3,6,9 are slightly larger on the rep. The Bezel pearl is actually a bit larger on the rep. The Breitling logo on the dial is a bit more defined on the gen. The date font is much more bold on the gen. Very very slight differences in the clasp thickness but hardly noticable. All in all the differences are very very subtle. The owner of the Gen, my good friend, was amazed at the quality of the watch. He felt the weight and only noticed the logo on the dial on his own. I noticed the rest of the differences myself. Of course I told him up front mine was a rep so he knew immediately to look for flaws. Had I not told him he may have never noticed them. Cheers!
  20. In the Breitling owners manual for the calibre 13 movement (ETA 7750) it stated to manually wind the watch at least 40-50 turns before wearing the watch. I always do this with my Asian 7750s and don't have any power reserve issues. I have however had a couple asian 7750s that would not always wind on my winder. When wearing on my wrist they always kept up but for some reason my winder wasn't doing the job. Still don't know why this is. Possibly the angle or I just don't have the winder running frequently enough for the needs of the watch. Very strange though because I can wind it the initial 40-50 turns, throw it on my wrist, and wear it for weeks with no power reserve issues. Just doesn't like my winder for some reason. Good luck!
  21. Blah blah blah blah blah.... I don't know why I keep checking in on this thread. If you want to boycott it then do it but they still make em and I'll still buy em. If you want after sales service like a gen then buy a gen!
  22. Looks amazing. Can't wait to see if there is a second run. Got quite a few that need the coating myself.
  23. I'll second that offer. I'll even pay shipping for each! Send me all your Chrono's people.
