  1. Mine too!!...Here's a "quick and dirty" shot of mine on a nice fat "Tootall" black strap...It's one of the newest ones to appear, and was shipped with a nice flush canon pin, a 2mm crown, and marked case...The movement is Asian non Swan neck, but with the incorrect plates...It also has probably a bit too much A/R, and the lume is probably just about right for a supposedly 10-11 yr old watch...And...the best part....: it cost $140. new!!...Sadly these are no longer available at that price...or any price for that matter, since Ti case supplies have dried up!!
  2. Yes fantasy....and NOT Lemania either...Seagull ST-19 movement...I have a 2 subdial version in RG, nice clean looking package..
  3. Here's some valuable info on 036's.... http://panerai.watchprosite.com/show-forum.../ti-409371/s-0/ Probably more than you really wanted!!
  4. Cannot be too much, since these 090's have been seen offered by dealers @ $100. from time to time...I got mine(in PVD) from WBK for that much!!
  5. $400. WITHOUT a watch attached...????....C'mon...this belongs over on Paneristi, with all the other "stuff" of that genre...!!! (whacko!!) ;) That's my budget for at least my next 3 reps...total!!!
  6. Try this link: http://panerai.watchprosite.com/show-forum.../ti-409371/s-0/
  7. Beautiful job, but....I'd be a bit shy about wearing it a lot, because once you mar it, there's no easy way to restore it without reblasting...And I wonder how a Stainless steel case will "darken" with age...???..I have dozens of them, and none ever darken even a little bit....Some over 50 yrs old!!..... BTW my 036 (in Ti) is one of my all time favorites...Love that tobacco dial!!
  8. Here Ya go!! BTW...that was a @$3000. vintage Beanie Baby in their prime!!...And we think watch collectors are "patso"!!..LOL
  9. I'm with Marco on this!!...My 2 090's (S/S, and fantasy PVD) both perform flawlessly, and the finish on the movements is impeccable for the price!! BTW...according to some "Seagull" info I've read, these movements actually have 35 jewels in this P/R configuration!
  10. Well....It SAYS :"Swiss" on the movement, and on the dial!!....Why WOULDN'T a $250.00 watch have a $300.+ movement in it...????.... ;) Remember the first name of this forum....LOL
  11. Just for perspective: I bought that EXACT same watch for just a bit more than 1/2 that amount, BRAND NEW from a dealer at that "geeky" board about 2 months ago...Same case, same thick crown, same flush pin, same Asian movement...But now that Ti cases have been discontinued, the prices have been jumping. The same dealer sold his last batch for $175. last month...And this month...Who knows..??? Maybe $250. is a right number now....?? I hope so!! BTW I love mine, and wouldn't sell IT for $250. either.... :p
  12. they ALL look gen these days....What blows my mind is the fact that a guy can afford a $4000. watch, but not a can of Cape Cod cloth!! ;)
  13. I have that watch...YEAH THAT WATCH!!...And I recently redid the oxyclean procedure on it, and did some mods to the cg, and bezel to take the shine away... http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a211/fra...ti/IMG_5577.jpg
  14. Slight correction!: Many Seikos autos cannot be manually wound...the "7as" being one of them....
  15. Mine have!!....I don't buy them!!.....I have gotten to the point where most Rolex models leave me unimpressed...Except really nice vintage ones...All I have left is a "Beginmariner"(mainly because it's not worth trying to sell), A 5510"Bond", a "McQueen" Ex II, and a vintage GMT.. Eventually a relative will express interest in the "Begin" and he'll own it!!...Otherwize, I consider my Rolex collection "complete" for my needs... ;)
  16. There are 2 different rep straps that I have owned..The standard buckle strap sucks!!...Wayyyyy too stiff for my tastes... The strap that comes with the deployant clasp, on the other hand, is quite supple and comfortable...This is probably because the deployant buckle needs a thinner strap to work properly, and it is a good deal thinner especially at the buckle ends... I have also found some non Panerai aftermarket straps at : Thorntonwatch.com, that come with a very decent deployant clasp, for @ $12.00!!...Theses are very comfortable and pliant...I bought a couple just to harvest the deployant buckles, and decided to use them as they were!
  17. I recall reading somewhere that his Ti crown is 2.1mm...Maybe I'm wrong... this one(not a DSN) is 2.1mm, and looks just about right to me!!
  18. Not trying to be a wise guy, but why not just replace the original movement...??? The difference between 6 and 8 stops per second is miniscule, and INNSFHO not worth the bother of an entire movement swap...And...There are a whole bunch of "tiny" parts below the second hand...In fact the entire movement falls into that category...Perhaps a picture...??? And remember...It isn't how many times your watch STOPS per second that's important....It's how many times it STARTS!!!
  19. Mine...Asian white...894234 Seems like they just are sequential without any duplication...BTW that is the heaviest caseback I've ever handled. It MUST weigh more than my entire Pam036!!
  20. Got to admit....even back "in the day" when I was into gen's, I was never much of a Breit fan, since they were considered to be "assembled" parts watches, rather than truly "in house" built like Omega and Rolex, but lately, I have picked up a couple of reps to flesh out my assortment, and I still consider the genuine ones to be second tier, but a close second!!...So please don't take my opinions to heart...Actually, if I hadn't done a trade that brought me a Gold EVO lately, I wouldn't have even considered any of the Breits for my watch junk drawer!(That's where they all eventually end up when i get bored!!)....But that watch convinced me that I needed an SFSO...And who knows when it will end...??? But in the end...they're all just "costume jewelery"(even the real ones!!) and as adults, we really shouldn't get too excited...We've got so much more to worry about!!!!
  21. The good news is you can keep track of your prostitution contacts on the 6:00 subdial..(HOS)!!!LOL What a farkin joke this watch is!! But wait......next week, the "Ultimate T-3" will be released for @ $ 600+...LOL
  22. I have a $75.00 quartz rep T-3 that is at LEAST as believable as that one...LOL And the GOOD news is it DOESN'T have a 7750 in it!!
  23. Download PicasaII from google....It's user friendly, and FREE!!....doesn't have layering features, but still a very useful application... http://picasa.google.com/download/
  24. But I will say that the 192 is probably one of the best Seagull examples there is. At least the function of the subdials is accurate. Unfortunately the beautiful movement is hidden by a titanium caseback, but still a lovely watch! Here's my solution: Took the display back off my relatively ugly 036, and put it on my "191.5"
