  1. Thanks, its so slim and light I love it, it's the phone I've been waiting for
  2. Hi, and welcome to watch utopia
  3. 56 User(s) are reading this topic (0 Guests and 0 Anonymous Users) I'm off to the member trade section to see if I can bag a bargain while everyones in here
  4. This thread seems to have turned from an issue with price fixing, to an issue with the BR-01, are we not flogging a dead horse with that one?
  5. Sorry about being OT... Hi Bricky hows things? I miss our little battles from the good ol days eh Susan
  6. If you speak to the dealer direct and ask nicely most watches have free shipping
  7. So the 4 are (in no particular order) Andrew Josh Angus ? Who is the 4th?
  8. I guess I am already taking the stand, there's been a few new reps lately that I'd love to have but I refuse to pay the inflated prices charged for them, when you actually sit back and think about the amount of money you're paying for some of these watches, that at the end of the day are just cheap copies that mostly no longer even contain decent movements, it's ridiculous, especially with the lack of quality control, you'd think with experience quality control would improve not decline, have a look at the quality of gen watch you can buy for the price of a HBB, infact what you can buy for a lot less. I mainly look to buy watches from other members nowadays, watches that have been checked and will be lower priced than new.
  9. Here's a photo of my watch box from around 2 years ago, as you can see I got hooked too (I've alse owned several other PAMs that aren't pictured), the only PAM I have now is an 036, but I still have various straps left over, and bezel guards, and papers, and stickers, and Panerai catalogues etc,
  10. If you're properly hooked on PAM you'll end up with more straps than watches anyway, changing straps is the favorite passtime of all serious PAM owners.
  11. Mainly the movement and the date font, I recently sold a much better version for around the same money, and threw in an extra one for spares, ok it was a used watch, but I'd rather have a used rep than an inaccurate one every time.
  12. I'd say thats a lot of help, the guys name, and an address to send a complaint about him to, nice job.
  13. OK then if it has to be a 104 I'd advise looking out for one in the member trade section, I don't need new lenses and I still say that $108 104 is a POS.
  14. If its not straight, its not straight, does it matter how far off it is?
  15. I've seen that before, and I just watched it again, and it was still as inspiring, if only every man was like this guys father what a different world we'd live in.
  16. Andrew sorry if my comment came across wrong, I wrote it without really giving it enough thought, I know some people are easily [censored] off and never happy, I didn't mean that you'd [censored] someone off by not doing the right thing. I know from experience that you turn things around, I once had a shippment of 5 watches go missing, and you replced them all, on top of that they were sent un-signed for so it took a lot of trust for you to replace them.
  17. Think of who you recently [censored] off the most on a deal gone bad and thats probably your guy.
  18. That $108 104 doesn't look much better (IMO), you could get one of these for around the same money.

  20. BTW... I've been wondering about this for some time, I thought reps were illegal in the states, how do they get away with selling them there?
  21. Hey it's cool, I don't wanna fall out with my private Breitling adviser I realised my mistake earlier so I thought it would be funny to find a pic of the crappiest Breitling I could and change it, made it even better that the edited post thingy doesn't seem to be working
