I'm not sure of the value of this model but if it's higher than his start bid this could be a good deal for someone who lives local to the seller, it looks dodgy so probably wont get any bids, and he says he doesn't expect anyone to buy it unseen, so make the bid and if you win you don't pay until you can go with him to Watche of Switzerland and pick it up.
Incase anyone hasn't seen them there's several awesome screensavers on the Bell&Ross website including the orange/PVD on rubber, I've got that one set as my ss atm
Mine seems to work better with low light, I've got a tent and 3 daylight bulbs, I've had to turn the top one off and move the side ones away from the side of the tent, this way the photos come out brighter than when there's more light, this is probably down to the fact I don't know what I'm doing though
I just saw this thread and noticed that you'd posted in it, I thought hmm lets see what camera Pug uses he takes some pretty good photos maybe I should get what he has, well my current camera is........ an FZ20 lol.
That strap used to come with all the cheap pams, my first pam rep had that strap on it, the watch is pos, the PANERAI lettering on the movement looks like it was done by a drunk lol.
Another Rolex model, the Tru-beat, featured a mechanical movement that was designed to "tick" only once per second. This "dead beat" seconds feature wasn't very popular and the watch was discontinued shortly after it was introduced, in 1954.
and here's one for sale.
Interesting article, we moan about quality control but what chance do they have when they have factories full of, what looked like, 10 year old children putting the watches together.
I know I prefer the black to the SS, but not sure if I prefer the white over the orange, some good pics of a white one here, with a comparison shot next to a PAM, in his description he talks about the lume, from what he says they're not that bright, so shouldn't be hard for them to get this one right
My BCE, bought from a member here, was sold with the same fault, I gave it a good wind, then started/stopped and reset it a few times, and it's been fine ever since
