Thats great, my sons too have had several watches from me, I've allways liked Seiko they're the best in their price range IMO, built like a tank too so good for a young boy, I like the military style one, tell him it's what soldiers wear and he'll love it even more
Great review, thanks for your effort. I noticed you said that you had to back the screws off on the bracelet, I did that with mine too because of it making them stiff, but I lost a screw so I've tightned mine back up now, tbh you don't notice it when your wearing the watch, it finds the shape it needs to be around your wrist and sticks there, if that makes any sense.
3/6/9 are way off, logo is too big, gen doesn't say AUTOMATIC on the dial, and Swiss Made is in the wrong place, but most people wouldn't know and it's still a nice watch.
unless that one on ebay is a rep? he's not showing any paperwork, and it's hard to say if there's any lume on the chapter ring, hmm.
[edit] oh just noticed it has the correct S.
ok forget the end links, here's a gen on ebay that has the serials on the last link not the end links, seems to be one or two inconsistencies with the gen.
So you want a gen watch, that will last forever, is ideal for all situations, has an auto movement, and great lume...... for around $100, could you let me know please if you find it.
wonder if they'll be repping this one, it has a glass back, nothing new there, but it also has glass sides on the case! not sure it would be as impressive with an asian ETA inside it though
