The guy's name is Henry, I've bought three watches from him without problems.
He takes a few days longer to ship than Andrew or Angus but otherwise he's OK by my book.
He likes to keep to the higher end reps with real swiss movements, he doesn't deal in the $99 quartz stuff.
The guys that sell watchwinders say so, but in my mind keeping the mechanism running 24/7 will put more wear on it than having it sit in a box.
I think it's more for guys that don't want to bother swirling it a dozen times and then setting the time and date, which takes all of 30 seconds.
I was told that pretty much all the asian 7750's in new watches for sale these days are the newer 28,800 BPH type,
and that the old 21,000 BPH 7750 models are no longer being made.
Anyone know if this is true?
The verdict reaffirms that Internet companies do not have to actively filter their sites for
trademarked material. Rather, they can rely on intellectual property holders to monitor
their sites, as long as they promptly remove material when rights holders complain.

If anyone asks about a watch I'm wearing I just say "It belonged to my Sister's ex, he left it in a suit he left behind when he ran off with his secretary"
That way, I'm off the hook as to where it came from, how much it costs or whether it's gen or not -
plus it's a fun story and makes girls giggle that he lost his watch.
You have to give the rep factory big strokes for putting as much effort into the back of this watch as the front - usually the rotors and clasps suck big time.
Like most Patek reps - clear caseback and a rotor that looks nothing like a signature Patek rotor.
Anyone who had even seen a picture of a real Patek would scream Fake.
And the cheap, tinny clasps with the bad photo-etched logo. Feh!
These guys did a nice rep -
There are some excellent Patek Gondolo reps out there for about $100 - very classy
The Miota 17j movement is not a workhorse, but cheap and easy to replace if need be.
I've always had good luck with Angus, he stands by his stuff. If he says it, I would tend to believe him.
But remember, swimming and diving are two different things - few reps will stand more than ten feet of depth or so -
Among watch buffs, definitely - but most hoi polloi think Patek Philippe is the name of a French tightrope artist.
Sad to say, but true - My Nauti rep is my favorite watch and yet the least noticed
That's right - a watch shaped like a hand grenade - (with the firing pin missing, of course)
sure to get you some face time with the boys from Homeland security -
Available in OD or matte black - more info here -

And with a leather strap as well -

Face it, a solid gold watch weighs about three times what a rep weighs, any idiot can tell in a second. He knows it's a rep.
Plus- "He works on the railroad and never wears a watch"??
What guy is going to say no to a solid gold Rolex because he can't wear it at work? ROFLMAO!
I'd definitely go with Patek, but with a Tux at a wedding I'd go with black face and diamond markers.
The blue face is nice, but more sporty and less formal
Because they're using the stock datewheel that comes with the ETA clone movements. Making a custom datewheel would be expensive, and I guess they don't sell enough Nauti reps to make it worth it -
BTW - there are several factories that make Nauti Reps, but they all use the 2824 clone movement with stock datewheel.
You might like a 3800 rep better than the 5711, the datewheel is the same size but the case is smaller so the date location is closer to correct.
