I'll have to dig out my photos from the late 90s when I started going to the SBK rounds in the UK. My brother had a huge Rising Sun flag to show his appreciation of Haga back when he rode the YZF750. I was a Fogarty fan, and it led to my purchase of a Ducati 748 in 1998.
Hell yeah!
Is it Haga's year yet?
In MotoGP, James Toseland has to be aiming at top-6 places this year. I fear he'll be 7-10, but I live in hope.
The title will be between Yamaha and Ducati again, with Honda trying to work out why they pushed for 800s when Dani obviously doesn't have the skills at the front yet. Melandri will be one to watch as will Lorenzo; those two will have the best seats in the house to watch Rossi and Stoner trade paintwork.
In SBK, Sofuoglu needs to get early podiums. Other than that, I see Haga winning it with the two Troys giving battle. Max Biaggi should be top 4 as well.
Please do not post the results in the title. I don't get to watch it live, so if anyone posts the results in the post title, I will not be happy.
Having said that, it's going to be an interesting year.
Precisely. There is no such thing as a free market. Never has been, never will be.
Oh, and sometimes, the US chooses to subsidise its own agriculture just to make it cheaper than imports. That's a double-stealth tax.
Just seen Juno. I've been saying for a while Ellen Page will get an Oscar, ever since I saw her steal scenes in Regenesis, but I didn't think she'd be nominated already. Great film, really funny, etc.
If she does win an Oscar, and I hope she does, the irony will be that three of the cast of X-Men 3 will be Oscar-winners, and it's none of the ones you'd expect.
Insurance against lost packages is one of the reasons we're given for higher prices. Hmm ...
Yes, if he's offering a free replacement, take it. It's only fair.
If you were doing it, what would you charge per hour? Now factor in postage and parts. Next, add an insurance cost for the day you botch a member's watch. Now you'll understand why I considered doing mods until I did the maths.
Oh, and you need specialist tools to fit a cannon pinion. No, really. Don't get it done by someone who doesn't have a jewel press.
Typing is difficult for less than a day. You'll get used to it remarkably quickly. Your wife, however, may find it tricky if she has very long nails.
I can do emails and simple forum posts (no copy/paste) on the train without a problem. It gets very easy very quickly.
Several scanning applications can cut up a scan into separate images on the fly. What you ideally need is a scanner with a light box for transparencies/negatives. You may be screwed by the sheer resolution needed to get readable data off microfiches, but you never know.
Without a lightbox on the scanner, I wouldn't even try. If you're exceedingly determined, use tin foil instead of paper to back the film.
Basically, it's non-trivial, which is why someone will gladly take money off you for doing it.
The controversial IWC Top Gun has been replaced with my Omega Planet Ocean since my crystals came back from K2222. I've not got a photo of the AR coating yet, but you know it's good, right?
