  1. We're interested, just too embarassed to comment.
  2. Shame I can only afford cheap watches, though.
  3. Moneybookers doesn't require a credit card. It's free to transfer from a Croatian bank account. http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=fees Back on Topic. I've posted a watch, and I know it may be coming from other sources, but you said to stake claims early, so I thought I'd close that one off.
  4. Send me the cash by Moneybookers and I'll pay for your membership.
  5. 80GB iPod Video.
  6. Really? For a first time buyer with no real interest? I must disagree, I'm afraid.
  7. Indeed. Look at the second hand on the lume shot. Look how little it moved. That's a short exposure which means ... damn, that's bright.
  8. Thanks for saying so, but these are completely untouched in Photoshop, hence the uneven backgrounds, the dust, etc. I had a choice, do everything on the couch on the laptop pictured in the last couple of photos or go sit at the desk in the study. The laptop won, but Photoshop isn't installed on it yet (and it'd be slower anyway, because Photoshop on Mac OSX isn't Intel native yet) so it's just mild retouching in iPhoto, I'm afraid.
  9. You've scared me in to not showing mine. Clean and organised, it's not.
  10. Where's the granite?
  11. Yes, I know it's not a rep, but I took some pics and here it is:
  12. Today is a Seiko day. It's just arrived from the Seiko Service Centre in Bangkok, and it's getting some wrist time. ps. MacBook Core 2 Duo - 2GB/120GB and 80GB iPod, in case you were wondering
  13. I feel sorry for the original poster. This was supposed to be his funny republican propaganda thread and it turned into a deep discussion on core economics once his post was pretty much dismissed by all parties.
  14. No, it's from the show Captain Pugwash.
  15. I agree. This part requires no special skills to remove.
  16. ... and more. The Monster is still a bargain at $150, for instance.
  17. I'm going to make a shot-in-the-dark recommendation:
  18. Yeah, but what id the movements come from one source, cases from another and you're just the guy that assembles them?
  19. Damn, I missed this bit. Does that include raffle tickets? *Pugwash ducks* ps. Hey everybody, look at the cool stuff Precious Time has. I think any EU members should check out his amazing watches!
  20. Woah, your wife is telling you to buy a watch? We are not worthy. Ok, now that's out of the way, what sort of watch do you want? Are you looking for sporty, dressy, gold, steel, chrono, handwind, expensive, cheap ...? Usually, if you have a look throughout the eyecandy section, you should see stuff you like. Let your wife have a look too, and see what you both think you need. You want something recognisable like a Rolex or an Omega? Something less known like a Breitling or IWC? How about something cheaper and less likely to be called out as a fake like a Tag Heuer? Or would you like something obscure like a Panerai? ps. Welcome to our corner of the Internet.
  21. My Orange Monster just arrived from Thailand. I'll do you a Gen Group tonight.
  22. Think yourself lucky, if it were a Great White, we'd have to fight for it ...
  23. I'm not entering this one, by the way. I already have two annual memberships running at the same time and don't want to make it three. ps. For those of you not lucky enough to find the Santa, how's about just buying a membership anyway?
