Well, I have Flavor Flav's black modded VCO. And it's perfect as far as I'm concerned, especially with the double AR. I also have a white non-modded V2, which will hopefully get a double AR treatment soon. I doubt it will see anything else, as I feel it's fine as is. This version just looks wrong to me. The hands are are the biggest giveaway, just not right at all. The date window I don't feel is as big an issue either way, even on the V2 hard to tell it's not trapazoid shaped, so I assume this version would fly on that mark also. Nice to see the larger cross, but the dial and numbers look somewhat off too. Overall not a bad out of the box version, still not perfect, but reps usually aren't.

Big fan of the series also. At first I was [censored]upset (geez), not knowing or seeing any final closure. Then I assumed Tony got clipped when the screen went blank. Now I think David Chase whacked the fans...Tony looks up and "we" get whacked, everything goes blank. As Bobby said in the first episode of season 6b "You never hear it when it happens". And we never did.

I'd venture to guess that ths version comes with all the QC issues as before as not much is different in design. I agree with Pug, color hard to judge, I'd assume they got it right. The caseback looks pretty good as they managed to achieve the level of detail in the swarming fish. I do like this caseback a little better, but prefer the 2006 dial.

The orange looks too bold..but I suppose it could just be the way the picture was taken. I'm happy with the 2006 version I got, it has a nice balance of colors and "original wood". But I do like the caseback on the 2007 version.

Total scam...They used the gen pic, the first one pictured. Then the subsequent pics are of the quartz chrono model. You can just make out the difference in sub dials. The gen has running seconds at three, the quartz rep has seconds at six. I have the quartz chrono rep...its real nice but not worth the scam price and that certainly isn't a genuine one offered.

No the stem broke right at the base of the crown, so 99% of the stem is still in the movement. My watchmaker didn't want to fuss and try and repair the broken stem, so he suggested seeing if I could obtain a new crown with stem attached.

I am looking for anyone who has a PAM crown with stem that will work with an asian 7750. My 199 Regatta's broke and I'm not sure if it can be repaired so I was hoping someone might have some spare parts. Thanks in advance

It's an ETA..look at the stamp below the balance wheel that has the "ETA" logo and 2824-2 movement number on it. Wear it well..nice watch

Absolutely not...i used to work on 5th Ave for 10 years and never saw anything worth buying and certainly never anything as good as what our dealers can provide. just pure junk they have...displayed in a cheap suitcase..sorry but maybe your wife might have better luck buying a cheap looking bag on the sidewalk from a vendor.

well articulated capt cope...but i'll use my right to disagree with you. it is your right to own a gun or in your case a small arsenal, but face it guns are designed with only one purpose...to kill. i happen to work for the department of defense so i sort of know the mindset...our weapons are made under the guise of protection...but in reality they are designed to efficiently dispose of the enemy while not creating collateral damage. funny how the army makes it sound so humane....it's still killing, the bullets we contract are for killing, the guns we design are for killing....if they don't do that then we failed in our mission and soldiers die as a result of our failure....see how it can be just so simple....when it's twisted for a rally around the flag purpose. fact is i do what i do because it pays well and provides for my family....i try to look beyond my moral and personal views of firearms, call me a hipocrite. but i pride myself on never having shot a gun let alone killed a living thing. most gun owners i know have killed something....kind of like having that new saw and you just can't wait to see how well it cuts

got a gun, fact i got two that's ok man, cuz i love god glorified version of a pellet gun feels so manly, when armed everytime some jerk off snaps and snuffs out the life of innocent people i always think of the above lyric's from pearl jam's song. everytime some sick person needs to behave in the most irrepsonsible way with complete disregard for human life I cannot help but feel empathy my heart goes out to the family's and friends of the lives lost yesterday...my heart grows sadder as another statistic is added to my country's liberal gun policy. At least the shooter had the sense to point the gun at himself in the end....

Just testing out the new lightbox and still mucking around with Photoshop CS3...just wanted to show off some of the latest pieces... Just got this on Friday...never thought I'd get it originally. It just sort of grew on me and actually if a very comfortable watch to wear..love the white dial. This came from Flavor Flav...his awesome VC Overseas with added mods..AR coating, correct size cross, Superluminova, and bracelet mods....as close to gen as it gets My new PAM 199 Regatta Upgraded version...nice AR and correct date font...still like it best on Steel. Well hopefully my photo and CS3 skills will improve...any experts want to share some pointers I'm all ears....
