  1. I just got my white dial Steelfish from Joshua..couldn't be happier it's a real nice looking watch. Heavy but feels good on the wrist. I sort of wish I got the tan leather strap to go with it, but suppose that can be picked up later.
  2. I read it 10 times and the only thing I can decipher is that perhaps he feels you are profiting off of board members...then my head hurts trying to go further with it..
  3. Those pics are still there i checked already. Of course should they disappear I can just upload some more
  4. This sucks...hopefully just a small inconvienence.
  5. This is the truth why this watch and others sell for higher prices. Prior to releases of these improved reps...the PAM 187 was a watch that had people all standing in lines to get..at a premium...then after all the rush and to do was over with...I bought mine for under $200..Nothing special about the PAM 187 no special alloys...still the same 7750 (28,800), rubber strap. All hype.
  6. Andrew...first off I always appreciate and thank you for your responses here...more dealers should step up as you do. Secondly the IWC Cousteau is a beautiful rep. I'm sure I do not fully understand all of the inside dealings that go on with rep makers, dealers and the industry that surrounds it. I do know and feel that this forum as well as others do play a large part in the sales of these watches...didn't this very forum have some influence over the end product? Angus didn't consult all of Malaysia to check out what flaws existed in the prototype. Additionally I just don't see how any of the materials have changed in this IWC to make the cost go above $300 (assuming it will be). Asian 7750 in the BCE was under $300..virtually all the same specs....just maybe not the demand? or hype? Other than this being a "hot" watch that some here have waited a long time for.. I just don't see how it will move at a higher than normal price level. Now if it were a "perfect sub" and I mean PERFECT sub....then a higher price i can see people tripping over themselves to have one. Just my humble economic opinion.
  7. More pre-sale bull...to pump up the latest watch...if not sold on RWG, RWI or TRC not sold at all period. Walk the streets for a month in China and you'll never see this rep. As I said before I'm done if the price isn't right on this one. I'm not going to be gouged anymore or fooled into believing this is some limited holy grail priveledge to be able to sell this. All a matter of patience and will power...the price if high will come down...if the perceived sales aren't there. As I said before they can choke on them.
  8. I'd be curious as to who makes up the remaining 90%-80% of the market on this watch???
  9. I agree totally with Zetterdawg bad day or week nonetheless. We the board members assited and gave our time and input into "making" this watch..It is really being constructed for one purpose to sell to "us". Outside of this community no one will care about it because it's no Rolex Sub. So if the makers decide to stick us with a unreasonable high price along with a line of BS..then they did nothing more than F#%k us in the end....so as I said earlier..a initial high gouging price means.....no watchy for me...or simply choke on them.
  10. Pity if this doesn't come out with a fair price...this might actually be the first time I protest with my wallet. I think the driven up prices on these reps are getting outrageous. Especially for Asian 7750 movements.
  11. The Black VCO i purchased from Flav has got to be one of the best looking watches i've seen...hasn't left my wrist since I got it on Friday. Totally in love with it.
  12. Nice pics and collection...hey..I recognize that PAM
  13. True.. I have the graphite and yes the subs are black in direct light....not so much in other lighting. Actually flaw or not...this is the dial I prefer I think the contrast works the best and perhaps is the dial Breitling should have made, as the graphite dial and subs looks too washed out.
  14. I have the Ultimate PO in both Black and Orange as well as a SMP...the PO's definitely win out on wrist time...Black over Orange. Is a very versitle watch as pointed out above. The SMP is nice too...I wouldn't part with it ever...but just doesn't get worn as often.
  15. Actually Usil..I just ordered a SF in white...but also a Monster in Orange. There is just something about the Seiko's..rugged a total beater watch...whereas the SF assuming it's really waterproof...just looks too classy to be outside washing cars or working in the yard...let alone doing some casual diving. JMO Now the Seiko will be my first Gen
  16. Just ordered my ORANGE MONSTER earlier today
  17. If someone can post a pic of the black dial...that would be nice..haven't seen one of the rep yet. I've been wearing my PO 45mm and my wrists are kind of small about 6.75 but I really don't care..if I like the watch I'm wearin' it. So those with pics...let's see them
  18. Update: White dial ordered today...looks like white won out the majority so far...but blue still looks nice to me...anyway had to pick one. I think the 42mm Steelfish has a different dial altogether...numbers all around it? Not sure maybe someone else knows. I also thought I remember the smalller steelfish comming in orange and yellow dials?
  19. Ahhh see I have the BCE in graphite so that's why I'm leaning towards white. Actually seeing more and more of this watch in white is what drew me to it...prior to that I sort of thought it was nothing special. Actually I think if I look at any watch long enough I'll find something I like about it.
  20. Ok so it looks like white it's going to be.thanks to all who responded. I guess my question is how the AR looks on the white dial, is it noticable or as noticiable? Not sure what the gen looks like as I haven't been able to find one.
  21. Thank you again...and I really agree with everything you said...which is why I'm leaning heavy towards the white dial..it's just every once in a while a watch appeals to me in several options (when given). Normally I know right away what color I want..but for some reason this watch has me going back in forth.
  22. Ok..I think I might get this watch...it's growing on me and appears to be a real good rep.. Problems is I'm torn between the white dial and blue dial. I have too many black so that's out. I like the look of white a little more than blue, but hard to decide. So I'm looking for those who bought one and if possible can share how happy or unhappy they are with the dial selection. for example the AR on the blue dial looks more pronounced than the white..is that true? I know dial color is personal preference...but just looking for opinions. Thanks much
  23. apparently this jerk off also sold a rep panerai SS bracelet for $600 just before this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=130085349899
  24. Ok that literally made me freak....the thought of this place shut down...it got me for more than just a second. Well done
  25. As much as I like this watch...it's looks to me we might be in store for another "PO"....many many revisions before its considered "perfect"
