  2. Quite similar to my second strap mine had aged quite alot in this pic, li looked like this when new

If it is a 28800 bph movement it ticks 8 times a second, the 4813 is to the best of my knoledge a 28800 movement therefore it ticks 8 times a second, if yours does not then i would question what you have bought An ETA movement copy or not is not a direct replacement as the hand sizes are different, the dial feet are in different places and you will have to change the stem as well, you will get the stem when you buy the new movement though. So you will need to remove the dial feet, and use dial dots or some thing similar to secure the dial source a set of hands that fit the ETA trim the stem and fit it to the crown I belive i gave the same information in the other thread yesterday as well

  6. That is correct you will also find that the dial feet are in the wrong place
  7. All of the omega bracelets with the pin and sleave fixing system can be a pain to resize
  8. One point to think about when you change the pinions over is the lenth of the seconds pinion, as that will have to be longer also.

  11. No 21600 but very reliable and well made, it is the same as you would get in a citizen auto costing a few hundred $
  12. Your best option would be to go for a myota 8215 movement rather than a 2813, same design just alot better

  15. No time for a photo right now but mine has the same serial number as Ubi but the cut outs dont look as deep as his, may just be shadow of his pic making them look deep and defined
  16. Well i would not say i was much as a vet to some of you guys , i think i joined TRC in 2005 so still a noob really, but i would like to say thanks to all the older members (and some new ones) for all that i have learnt here and some are wearing the fruit of what i have learnt. Thanks Guys
  17. Where did you get the black lume of how did you make it?
  18. My plexy is sat about 2mm in the centre and 1.52mm if i mesure with the vernier depth gauge on the side, as the crystal domes to the middle then i read this to be about 2mm in the middle
