  1. And the bears or the zoo or anything or any one except the stupid person who climbed the fence and jumped in for a swim, the zoo will have to make the enclosier impregnable and the public will pay for it in higver costs, should have lett the bears eat here and play the film out side as a deterant for other people who might think it wouls be nice to swim with "the big cuddly bears"
  2. Chat to TeeJay for watch type art
  3. The only watches with the sunken date wheel problem is the ones with sub dials at 9,3 and 6 as the modification plate to move the subdials from the standard of 12,6, 9. No problem if you choise a watch with a standard 7750 layout.
  4. I too am confused by this whole watch, one min every one says it is great then a new version comes out that solves a flaw and then CBR gets both together and they are like chalk and cheese.
  5. I dont see why it needs another 60 dots on the dial and the circular patern is just not needed, 12 looks out of place as well.
  6. yep i remember the nail gun incident, bunch of tossers!
  7. They wont make it as long as we still keep buying the modded 7750 versions and live with the sunken date wheel problems, why should they, all that cost in re tooling for the 7753 just to make one improvement to a number of watches that sell any way. The Chinese are not as interested in perfection as we are, they are interested in money!
  8. My wife will post here recipe latwer this evening, she makes great beef jerky
  9. The bigger hands are a new version.
  10. never seen it repped
  11. The only person in the worls i would trust with some thing like that would be ziggy but i am not sure if hwe would re paint the whole thing but i do know his lume work is the best.
  12. Still the 3717
  13. I see there should be no reason why it could not be more water resistant, as long as all seals are in place and lubricated and the glass fits the bezel correctly and is either glued in or held by a correctly fitted retaining ring. Find a local watchsmith with the ability to dry test it and if it passes that test then try a wet test.
  14. Wow no one has posted here for over a month, you all finaly got the Admins Idea of not posting here! Ooooooops

  21. I think this is working out to be some event!!!!! Have you got enought glasses Stephane????
  22. Looks great, do you have a plan to remove or shorten the centre seconds pinion and fill in the top of the canon pin?
  23. Your right about the crown guard pin and the canon pin could do with being higher. I am not sure why but the ring around your crystal looks odd, not the besel but it looks like the crystal retaining ring is making it look very white in that area.
  24. it all depends what you can do your self but if you have never worked on a watch before or are not mechanicaly inclined then take it to the mall
