Ok cool, i may have read into your first post a "tone" that wasn't there. If so, i apologize. i think 50% is probably a good number. Basically on the this board anyway, all of the regulars will trust you - because, if there actually was a problem, we would hear about it super quick. also can you please pm with the password for your album.

Usually, there are so many positive reports that i almost never post a review. I do give recomendations to many members that ask. And always are ready to hold members to task for claimed issues with dealers. Also i generally will post reviews or pictorals of watches and will always credit the dealer I recomend that maybe a nice note to your customers maybe a few days after they have recieved their watch - that says, Hi, customer, I hope you have been satisfied with the watch you recieved. I would appreciate if you could write a few words about your experience with me on the forum. I hope to work with you again soon, Thanks, ------------------ I'm going to guess that this sort of approach would work better than starting a thread about it.

Mare Nostrum.. This Is The Next Panerai Rep We Need....
fotoman replied to V's topic in General Discussion
you know, i'm a pam convert so no issue here, and i haven't been around forever, been collecting reps for about 5 years now - been on the forum scene for a year and half, but it seems that the pam revolution has opened up all kinds of new doors. i mean the new breit reps- the bently gt is awesome!!! and, if my old eta rolex reps, sweep'd as good as my 7750 in my breit gt, i'd probably still have it. all i know is, i'm super happy with the reps coming out now. super super happy. -

I was screwing around on the dark side, when i noticed someone had a cool flash animation in their sig provided by image station link for reference http://replica-watch.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8695 scroll down to see Syd's sig and i thought to myself - wow, damn cool, i could make one with my collection - not that i need ANOTHER way to display the collection, but-i'm bored so i made one phoband slide show http://img394.imageshack.us/slideshow/play...94685500ua.smil but it won't let me embed is there a specific security reason or something dunno, won't ruin my day or anything, just thought it was cool

Wow , this is much higher than i thought. ok - I think the plans were talking about here would work. With low fees. You could let it go auto for 1 dollar a month, or pay the 12 bucks up front (90% of people will just pay the 12 bucks) But when you offer the 1 dollar, it sounds better re: supporter trading forum - if we got int he habit of posting there first fora few days at least - i think people would definatly want in. The longer i hvae been around the more i realize the value of trading and frankly the best deals are gone within hours if not a day or 2.

HOLY CRAP man, so maybe you should get your own modded forum and you can handle all the "who has the best sub" questions do you have photos of all your boxes in my collection? i think that would be quite impressive and i'm curious to take a look

Rob- i understand what your saying, usually i'm looking for the more accurate rep. but, with this statement "Surely, if you are going to the trouble and expense of having parts made to replace innacurate ones, the point of the exercise is to make them 'more' accurate. and therefore take another step towards that elusive perfection" is contrary to my thesis. the purpose of making mods is to make the watch more pleasing to me if perfection is more pleasing, then so be it. but, why would i spend money to make the watch less pleasing. anyway - i just like big beefy watches- and i think a nice thick crown compliments a big beefy watch. in fact, i should put some beef on the watch, that would be cool anyway - curious to see what v has going on. And hopefully i get my palp crowns soon. I'm ready to do my upgrades

SONY !! http://www.mobileburn.com/news.jsp?Id=2754 Today Sony Ericsson launched their first Bluetooth watch, the MBW-100. The latest in a line of novel Bluetooth devices from the company, the MBW-100 was designed in partnership with Fossil and will provide its wearer with caller ID and other information from their linked mobile phone. The MBW-100's controls and OLED display can also be used to control music playback on compatible mobile phones as well as alert users of newly received text messages - all from their wrist. Perhaps equally useful, the watch can be used to reject inbound calls and have them sent directly to voicemail. The Bluetooth 2.0 functionality on the MBW-100 should be able to run for 7 days on a charge, and the analog watch functionality should work for an additional 7 days beyond that. Sony Ericsson states that the MBW-100 is compatible with the following Sony Ericsson handsets: K610, K610i, K618, K790, K800, V630, W710, W810, W850, Z610, and Z710.

Panerai - Solution For Stripped Lug Threads
fotoman replied to PAMman's topic in Watch Repair & Upgrade
hmm, some guy i don't know 45$ or River 15$ hmmmm where can i get the 22mm version -
supporters seperate trading forum - great idea - Great minds think alike - Everythingape - has a VERY IMPORTANT point. so, important infact, i had to stop typing to call it out, less my point might be missed in the middle of a lot of garbledy goop - like a supporters trading forum - i do like though however, "specials" for supporters. Anyway, back to the BOLD - I work, at least for the time being in Politics - and the first thing you have to teach a new candidate is - you must ASK for a persons vote. Don't just go up and say, hi, i'm running, here are my great ideas - people don't react unless you ASK for their vote. Just like Everythingape pointed out, he is a supporter because you asked. I don't know if that means a automatic email that says, Hi, you have been enjoying our forum for 1 week. We have many costs to keep up and we would love you to support us with 1 dollar a month, or whatever i think this is KEY also - i think the minimum grace period should be 1 month. I mean seriuosly - if your going to become a supporter? if your going to stick around - give it 1 month and this place and how can anyone turn away. and strikes a good balance.

Yup - the logic goes like this - there is no such thing as a perfect Rep - having conceded that there will be flaws you must decide what flaws are acceptable to you. Well - that is of course an inherantly subject decision. Therefore - the "right" rep for you is the one you enjoy owning, viewing, aquiring, repairing or so on, and so forth. Ergo - i bought a pam "89" with a blue face when there is no blue face pam 89. The black one was accurate, but i think the silver seconds dial on a black dial looks like dog droppings. So, i chose the "less" accurate rep, cause i enjoy it. In this instance, i like Thick Crowns - its kind of like rims? if i could get a crown with some twirly things on it, i would - ok, maybe i wouldn't. But how bout some switches on that big mamma ok - back to reality - so, as i was saying - if, i enjoy the thicker crown - accurate or not- it makes for a better rep "for me" hence, my comment. I Like V's better. Ergo hithertoo forth i shall walk upon this land and pay astronomical pricing for a palp crown. Why? well, not sure, but i learned awhile ago that sometmies you have to jump on things around here, they don't last forever.

can you give us an idea of what the daily user number totals are? i mean, of the 3000, clearly many sign up, don't come back, come and go after 6 months. any stats on users would be great - i.e. the average person signs up and stays 3 months. I like the structure posted above - i think the 1 dollar a month folks should get access to the trading forum i think there should also be a supporter trading forum - for those of us who want to only trade with very active members. The lack of a PM i think is HUGE on this board and definatly worth the buck

I think it makes it harder to search for the names. the text will show up in a search engine, the logo does not
-
when he directed us there in the past, he said we would pay wo-mart prices, but just look at the site for his available catalogue of watches

perfect - thank you kindly. Now to find a yachtmaster case and bracelet. If anyone has a yachtmaster that is dead or dial problems - ect ect i have a dial and movement i want to shove in a yachtmaster case will pay reasonable price thanks again ubiquitous I have a watch that my wife got me, its a logo for my college, its a wanna be yachtmaster, but the case and bracelet are - well, the cheapy reps on canal street are better its very similiar in size to the yachtmaster dial. i had thought about putting it in a black and gold AP royal oak case. the school colors are black and gold, but the dial is silver -

Another New Version Of The Asian 7753 (7750)
fotoman replied to RWG Technical's topic in Watch Repair & Upgrade
Cmon you guys are all missing the oportunity here to brand This should be the "Zumba 7750v1" -
i have a pact with myself not to get into the political threads on the new board. but i have to say, i saw the interview - it pumped me up, i actually physically applauded. I wish we could have more leaders like him. He will go down as one of the greatest americans in history. Partly as a president, but mostly for what he is doing now with the 6 billion he is raising for real charity work. Not BS overhead heavy organizations. you watch him speak, and he actually understands and discusses things. its sad really, pathetic -- if GWB is the best america has to offer - - we deserve to have china take us over. Which they will in the next 20 yrs. Were going to be making the reps for them!!!!! at least, they will have more customers for us then we provide for them
