  7. Dude the answer to this question is easy, don't listen to these wanna be professors the answer is ----- Yes.
  8. so your speedmaster is having trouble mastering the speed of time?
  9. yeah the coolpart is the neonblue lighting that lights it from the bottem
  10. Rotating base would beok, but it would make the light component killed. Would anyone actually be interested in paying me to make one of these? Basically you would have a neonish blue, red, green or other color lighting the wach from underneath but you wouldn' t seethe light source. of course in the dome and such it would reflect around some of the blue ( or other color) and it would be cool. I think i can do it not very expensive maybe around 50 bucks for a battery operated light dome- ect ec. The plug in power source itself is like 35$ practically duoble the costs of the project. interest?
  11. This is my temporary place for my collection while i try and give 1 more chance to the pen shop idea and hype it up a bit and see if anyone is ready to bite. So far, many many more costs than sales Click Below to See Full Size Photos of My Collection Notable Former Pieces
  12. as many of you know i have always looked for better and better ways to display my watch collection. Also, as many of you know i have a new Growing pen collection. There are a few premiere pens that i'm going to be building, so i wanted to look for something cool other than the just the standard acrylic stand. I found a really cool and financially reasonable solution. a cool glass dome with base, - originally ment for pocket watch displays. but you can clearly get a watch stand and put it under glass looks like they go for 20-25 buckish on ebay - lighting is a different issue, i might be looking at a flexible lighting tape make like a cool blue glow - but that is way off. Here is the dome. - Unfortunately, i will need to wait till i have a job to really put this concept into full scale. cheap lighting product http://www.thatscoolwire.com/store/group.a...;CategoryID=168 think this may require a dremel to get everything setup
  13. still haven't heard from him. I'm in FL as well we were planning to get together to make some pens. - I know of a small handful of reasons he might be away for a bit. At the moment, i am still not worried. But much longer, and - hmmm i might have his cell ##
  14. there is a benefit to the Gold version. The tourby cage is yellow gold, so on the rose gold, there is 2 types of gold. So, on the yellow gold - both the case and the tourby cage are yellow gold
  15. i have an asian one on the way. we'll see how it is
  16. that would be great - i really wanted to like the rep, maybe thats the problem with it, it was the subdial spacing, cause there is just something very wrong about the rep. who knows, it would be interesting to if someone could point out JOSH to the factory that has the new movement that this is another watch that they could sell. my guess, the first model didn't sell jack, cause i barely saw any user photos
  17. i think just 3 although i wish i had the blacksteel
  18. that 3rd strap is like that first one i got from you which i sold) from my pam 177 that strap is pure awesomeness
  19. by the way, i can get some pen setups with - Rhodium, Black Titanium, and 22 K gold those pens will be over 200$ the costs on those are significantly higher its if you want to go relatively simple or more ornate - still rollerball not fountain thoughts?
  20. i am very public with my wood working, i like to do it, outside when its nice, like today.
  21. yup, made from this wood - now for sale for 120- pm for questions ect
  22. Depends on the wood. I'm pretty sure i have to use he same wide wood i do with the current big model, probably 110 for the silver or "Chrome" 120 for the gold. i haven't made one yet. so thats just a guess based upon the others i have worked with. As always, the pen price is based upon the parts, wood, materials and time + shipping ect ect.
  23. IGNORE THE WOOD, JUST VOTE ON THE PEN PIECES, GOLD SILVER BLACK PIECES (not silver or gold pens, but i'm looking for the non-wood parts of the pen.) Pen Style 1 Pen Style 2 (gold and Stainless) Pen Style 3 The pen i'm using now, pen 3, is going to be discontinued, if you guys really like that one i'll stock up before they are gone.
