  1. At least the case doesn't say "shitinerand"
  2. Thanks The Zigmeister. pman
  3. The Zigmeister, It does when winding too. What do you think doctor? pman
  4. Maybe you can scrap it off with something like hotel room key, you know, the credit card type. I thought about trying to resize it myself. After I watched how hard it was for the jeweler to get the pins out I was very happy I spent the $10 bucks to get it done. When in doubt leave it to a professionals. The one bonus for having them do it is that you have a story about how you went to the jeweler and they thought it was a gen. I've got the same watch and LOVE IT. Enjoy.
  5. Yes, it's screw down. I don't have the watch on but I will check when I get home tonight. As best I can recall that there wasn't a problem when winding. I think I had the same problem adjusting the date wheel. Do you think the crown is out too far? Thanks The Zigmeister, I'll send you an update tonight.
  6. I've got a 42mm Omega PO with ETA movement from a very reputable dealer. I've had it about 5 months and it's been perfect until now. I went to adjust the time and when I twist the crown the hands turn but then the crown "slips" the hands stop moving and then start turning again. It happens each time I turn the crown. Does this make sense? Any suggestions on what to do? Is this a job for an expert or is there something I can do? Thanks in advance for the help. pman
  7. Because of chrono903 and gioarmani photos I didn't see anything else on the page. uuuuummmm, what was your questions again?

    Omega Po

I agree. Go see it in person. The 42mm seems bigger than it appears for some reason.
  9. Keep pouring it on guys. The more to we speak up the better our chances. Actually this is shameless bump.
  10. I'm a pretty big golfer and Phil is the only golfer that I can think of that wears a watch while playing golf. I seriously doubt it's a Daytona. I blew up a photo as best I could. See for yourself.
  11. Crystalcranuim, Please make sure to show them this thread. I think there is a ton of demand for the limited edition. If anybody wants it to be made NOW IS THE TIME TO SPEAK UP!!
  12. Please tell me the B&R they're going to make will be the making this beauty!!
  13. What blows me away is the quality of the photography. I read the reviews to make sure what I'm buying is a good quality rep. They provide an invaluable service. Thanks guys!!
  14. It's not a rubber strap. It's PVC on the steel band.
  15. He's wearing the black Omega PO there, right?
  16. http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...c56dfa8821049ca I prefer this watch instead.
  17. Thanks Linder.
  18. I just checked ebay and they go from $1600 to $2500. Still fairly pricey, especially for a model that is not very desireable. Ubiquitous, I can't find the dial colors on the Rolex site. All they show is blue. Do you have any ideas where I might find out if the silver/white dial is offered as a gen? I just checked ebay and they go from $1600 to $2500. 19. I'm thinking about getting this Air King. I like the simplicity of the watch. How does it compare to the gen in regards to accuracy? I'm looking for help from the Rolex experts. Thanks in advance.
  20. Thanks guys. One of the best threads I've read in months.
  21. Pug, I just bought two swiss ETAs in the last month from a very "trusty" guy. Are you saying I should have them serviced right away because the they're dry? Should I get them serviced?
  22. I'm interested in doing the same thing. Would you recommend the bezel? Is it considerably better than the rep? Thanks for your post and reply. pman
  23. Kanerich, You're proving my point for me. He's intentionally misleading people=SCAMMING!! Let's not split hairs over semantics.
  24. I just clicked on the link. I notice that the guy doesn't show the serial number of the watch. Lots of paperwork but no certificate or authenticity card that I can see. This guy is definitely SCAMMING!!
  25. Are you talking about the images in your signature (slow and gentle circular motion)? "Licking it may help" I bet it does!! Or, do you mean the watch?
