as far as rep goes, there is really nothing great in HK, Shenzhen or Macau. I'd recommend you to goto Venetian....walk around. People in casion of course usually wear alot of good watch. during my 2 days visit, i have seen 2 Daytonas and many rolexes. For Dinner I'd recommend Fernando at Hac Sa Beach (+853) 28 882 264 . The food there is very nice. I saw two panerais and a vintgae platic rolex sub and a TT sub in this resturant on one night, when i was there 2-3 weeks ago.

Depending on where you send it to, it is always best to stick with EMS for China. Beijing is a good place to receive time piece. I recently sold a gen Exploer II to some areas in Beijing, he told me not to worry about custom issues...

I have 6263 case-sets from Phong, Honpo & DW (have seen some from China which are the same case set DW and Honpo sell).. Phong's prodcut is the best of the three and blow the other competitors out of the water. DW case back will not fit Phong's case set, if anyone is currently building a franken 6263.

One thing you may have to consider is that the subdial hands of DW may not fit your EE Daytona.. i tried to change dial and hands on my Honpo 6239 .. but with no luck (I am not sure if it is just me or i didnt try hard enough) With the picture shown above in Laz's message... only 2,3 & 6 are correct.

If lucky, i will be getting one tomorrow....hopefully can take some pics on sunday if I dont have to work on my car. flex

Sorry I see Valjoux GHT is mentioned. I must say I know very little of this movement. I cannot tell the differenec between the two.

There was one on Ebay, sold under 2. I think.

It is a valjoux 22. for comparison, here is a pic of my (version 1) val 72 movement (have been working on it for the past few months).

Listen to him...great advice. I know for fact that alot dealers are selling franken as gen. If I find a T/T chocolate dial GMT 1675 at 3k, i would pay cash, and sleep with a big smile.

The lume on the GEN VCO was already pretty good....I had a gen, sold it after 2 years. Total wrist time 2 wedding dinner. Sold it for 2.3k. I still have the box that I put stationeries in it. Some guy on ebay offered me $150.
