Different shaped crystals, of course, between my Ingy and the 3717 - but I felt my AR was stronger than the gen. I do have a side-by-side pic but it's not all that good as a shot, and not really conclusive.

I doubt that it's up to chieftang / k222 standards - to be honest I doubt if the gen 3717 is up to those standards! [i say that having compared my chieftang AR crystal ingy side by side against the gen 3717's AR ] But still - very cool as an 'out of the box' improvement.

Out of interest, how does the gen dial and the Ziggy superlume fair head-to-head? I know neither have huge Orange Monster marker sticks or anything, but I'd be intrigued.

I think that's enough handbags at dawn duelling.... The forum does have a wiki function which would be ideally suited to this kind of thing, because it can be updated and so on as a group effort. It is also true to say that folk haven't exactly been queuing up around the block to use it though. So maybe everyone is right!

I'll tell you one thing about Rudd - how many politicians worldwide can say that they were revealed to have gone to a strip club while on parliamentary business and were too drunk to remember what happened.....and then seen their approval ratings shoot up! Howard was stuck in the 1950's, he had no plan beyond his own political longevity. He didn't just lose government, he lost his own seat as an MP! As a sitting Prime Minister (in a mega-rich suburb), that takes some talent. If only he'd gone to a few more strip clubs....who knows what might have been.....
