Nice watch! I have a white mbw 1680 myself. A tc bracelet does not fit well on mine. The end links do not fit and move.... Keep that in mind before investing :-)

I read that the GMT iic is a great rep. One of the biggest tells is the missing AR on the cyclops. Please do check this info, I'm not an expert :-)

Agreed, you should always follow your passion. If you a unsure about pursuing a career as a chef, read a few books, follow a few real life courses and see if a local restaurant needs help this season. Even as à waiter you see what it is about. What about those "geneva grade" rep rolex? From what i gather these watches are built in gold (14K?) and have Swiss movements. They pop up once and a while on marktplaats (dutch Craigslist) and cost about 2000 euros. Most of them are daytona's.... There is a topic on these watches on the dutch Rolex forum What's the verdict on those?

lol, I was at MBK years ago but never realized they sold good reps there. At that time I was swinging a gen omega smp and never knew reps could be that good! I do remember a shop on the top floor with a lot of vintage rolexes and omega moonwatches. Gen or rep, i'll never know!
