Me too. And a daytona. I have seen both for sale but the attempt at the dials are horrible. Too much green and silver print on a gold watch. If they can take this dial, print it in gold and put it in a gold yacht I am all over it!!! -
Finally a black mother of pearl replica!!! This is what I said to myself when Ruby sent me a picture of this. originally I was looking for a white mop version of this watch because i had given up my search for a Black MOP replica. All the dials that they have made look wither green or purple or some other color but not black. I must say that this is a very good example of a black mother of pearl dial. The light reflects off of the pearl so you see blues, greens and purples at different angles. Truly a work of art. The watch is very well made. Nice and heavy and larger than a president. I believe it is about 39mm, just a hair smaller than a yachtmaster. The case and braclet are highly polished and very similiar to platinum. The cz bezel and hour markers have lots of fire unlike many other cz reps. The second hand is smoothe and the date font appears to be spot on with closed 6 and 9's. It also has very good date mag. Comparing this one to my older gold mop mastepiece there is no comparison unfortunately. Although the new one is good and I am happy I have it, the fit and finish is no where near as good as on the older model. The first gripe I have is with the end links. They are a bit wobbly on the new one where the older ones fit perfectly to the case. The first links after the end links dont bend to the wrist. They are stuck at an obtuse angle so the watch wears more like a bangle. The old model's bracelet is flawless. It flows freely just like the genuine. The links on the old bracelet get thinner towards the clasp. The links on the new one are thick all around. When you move to the inside of the watch the black dial model is brushed. The gold model is polished in and out like it should be. Also the back of the endlinks on the black dial aren't detailed or finished like the older model. The clasp on both is very good, however the older model is better. It snaps shut with a soft click and stays put. The new model although the clasp snaps shut very tight, it is a little difficult to push in. It does stay shut the whole day however. The black dial's clasp has a sharp edge where the clasp meets the bracelet. This annoys me a bit as the gold version is smooth and the fit and finish is much better. I think it is a shame that Rolex replicas are going downhill in general while other brands are being produced with much better attention to detail. Don't take this review as a negative. This watch is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The price was right too at just $200. I can't complain. Ruby is also a pleasure to work with. Aside from all the faults the dial is the nicest I have seen and what I have been looking for for almost five years. Now enjoy the pics. And yes that is a velvet snakeskin print shirt I used for the back drop The happy couple Platinum Fred glasses with the Platinum Rolex Gold and Wood Cartier glasses with the Gold Rolex Genuine Black Mother of Pearl Platinum Masterpiece

All these improvements, but they still can't polish the sides of the bracelet? That is the reason I sold my last two. The dial on this one is beautiful.

Feel better.

Why do people imitate TTK's style of writing?
jfreeman420 replied to Jumbie's topic in The looney bin
I certainly appreciate all the free education I get here on RWG. My new word for the day......."cromulent". Can it be used to say "sure he wears a cromulent rolex"? Or is it more like "my wife's breasts aren't near the cromulent level of that woman's"? -
Another HBB Fake.... For $5000 and climbing!
jfreeman420 replied to tonton2000's topic in Name & Shame
I wonder where these people get their hands on the high end reps that we get. They are almost impossible to get anywhere else. Ever think there are thieves among us? There used to be a guy who had a bogus account that bid these things off the charts. Haven't seen him around for a while. Anyone ever think to make a couple ebay accounts to bid these fakes out of the public's reach? -
MBW Rolex Lovers...Would you buy a MBW vintage?
jfreeman420 replied to manuel's topic in The Rolex Area
Funny, I'm not really into the vintage models but if I bought one it would be the white 1665. I guess I have good taste because many others voted the same way. I am a fan of the riveted bracelets and would require that on mine. I wish they would bring back the riveted bracelets in some modern models. -
It seems that this is a genuine replica forum with topics that sometimes genuinely replicate watch discussion. I'm sure the bampots just wanted to know if the straps are genuine replicas or just fake fakes. I love the genuine simulated diamonds in my new watch.

It's these little details that shows the superior quality in Rolex movements. The ETA movements just have a button you depress to release the stem and that can get stuck very easily. Not much room for error here.

I was going to wait to post some pics of this beautiful piece but the last ems tracking update was june 18th leaving the country of origin. Finally what appears to be a decent Black mother of pearl rep is on the way to me. Can't wait. I am planning on a great photo shoot with this one and my gold masterpiece with the white MOP dial. Got a new camera and my finger is itchy. A little preview to whet the appetite.

Yes, pity....
-
Can you post a pic of the clasp? I'd like to see the crown and the thumbnail imprint.
-
Cmon, that's only one hand....... I have asked several dealers about this as well. They informed me it won't be made. Too expensive. I don't know why. Just some gold plated parts with plastic inserts. Don't have to make them ceramic. Seems easy to me.
-
Yes thank you very much for that. My office thanks you too.

Sure wish I had found RWG about two weeks earlier
jfreeman420 replied to coliver18's topic in Introduction/Rules/Support
It doesn't matter what you bought the credit card company protects you. Don't mention that it was a replica just the purchase price and the fact it was a watch. Provide them with the tracking # of the return and their return policy. The policy applies to when the transaction was made, not what changed. The more preassure the credit card company puts on the processor the better chance of their processor dropping them. -
No AR on the crystal.

I know everyone is tired of the HBB talk, but the one I have been waiting for is here. It is on King's website. She doesn't post prices but I sent off an email to find out. It looks really good. Ceramic bezel and they even got the black clasp right. It doesn't have the proper gold markings or model number on the back, but I can live with that. The only thing I am worried about is the price. If the black magic is over $700 how much is this going to be? This is one I am waiting for but I don't know if I can bring myself to spend more than $700 on a replica with an unreliable movement. If I do well at the poker table this week I wil take the plunge. Wish me luck.

But I digress................. I said I was no expert. JMO.

watchmaker9 New 1 to 1 copy Submarinercase ?
jfreeman420 replied to Tribal's topic in The Rolex Area
On the subject of Rolex copy movements, I'm surprised no one has done an aftermarket movement that fits a genuine rolex. They make every other part aftermarket. I'm sure there is a market for people who flood their rolex or wear out the movement from not servicing it. -
I don't think that movement is as old as you think. Might have been a replacement. You don't see many automatic watches other than Rolex until the late 60's or early 70's. Plus, how long has Sandoz even been in business? Maybe a miyota or seagull movement? I'm no expert here but those are my feelings.
