  1. 1. Breitling Bentley GT. White dial is virtually indistinguishable from the genuine. I wish the sub dials were a little greyer silver but this one impresses everyone who sees it. 2. Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow Automatic. Finest bracelet of any replica I have. Subdials are off but not too much else. 3. Rolex Submariner from Paul. 2836 movement, deep, steep angled rehaut, excellent hour markers, good cgs, incredible mag on cyclops and $119. The price and the quality in combination put it here. It is head and shoulders above the mass market $175 submariner from 3 years ago. Honerable mention. Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch with Venus copy movement. An icon among genuines and replicas. I still wish the rep factories would put a rotorless asian 7750 in these with an accurately engraved closed caseback. The subdial position would be the only issue and the watch would need to be hand wound like the genuine and would have a functional hour counter at 6 pm.
  2. I've looked at Joshua's, Andrew's and Paul's sites and I can't find it.
  3. I another thread, a MBW owner listed the problems with his Double Red "Best Watch" and they seemed to be considerable, defects that would have us dissing a $120 Submariner as a copy with significant flaws. Wrong insert, wrong lug holes, wrong crystal, wrong cgs, ugly engraving on the caseback..... Is it the fact that this watch is modifiable with genuine parts so most of these problems can be solved with a OEM upgrade that gives it its' mistique? Is the charm that when corrected with genuine replacements, it comes closer to the real thing than any other Rolex replica, a replacement option nor available on other replica submariners?
  4. So let's say I shell out $350 for a DR MBW. I wouldn't dream of doing any case modifications or crystal replacement myself. What could I expect to have to shell out in addition to have the case modified (crown guards reworked, lug holes drilled ) put in a genuine crystal and get a replacement case back and add a genuine bezel? Isn't this going to run significantly more than the watch itself? I would think a genuine replacement case back would alone cost a fortune.
  5. Agreed. I had an email communication with THE George about a month ago and he was very unassuming about the quality and availability of MBWs and how his prices compared to others who had easier access.
  6. Love the look of this replica. I did some image searches for genuines and found a few issues. Subdial tic marks too obvious on second hand dial, screw head on lug post too large, but overall it looks pretty good. It looks like the original is running on a manual wind Venus chronograph movement, highly decorated of course, that is visible through a display back. The replica is the venus copy movement, not as adorned, but impressive. I need feedback from my usual band of dream makers or killers! http://perfect-clones.com/br10014-classiqu...nos-p-1304.html
  7. Where? I've tried to source these accessories on the internet but without luck. I'd love to put one on the new strap I have coming from BOB which has a neutral buckle.
  8. Welcome to the land of "almost perfect"!!!! Perhaps your experience with junk reps has been had in the usual places, street vendors, rogue internet sites etc but this is the finest portal to as good as it gets in replica watches I have found in almost 5 years of high end buying. This is not to suggest everything sold by the associated dealers here is of top quality, there is the obligitory selection of 'wear it 6 times a year $88 asian low quality stuff but, if you stick around and listen to the experience here, there are some absolutely fabulous 98% plus accurate, high quality pieces to be had. Yes, the Vacheron Overseas is one of the most accurate replicas available, (right down to inherent problems with the design of the bracelet that the genuine shares!) having been replicated directly from a genuine case. The Breitling Bentley GT is amazing in it's weight and detail. The IWC GST Chrono has won high praise from the most exacting of critics here, and the list of surpurlative copies goes on and on. But this is not a hobby that claims perfection in every copy. I have yet to find a Patek replica worth buying. The search for a Rolex Seadweller with an accurate HRV goes on. Those Daytona replicas with running seconds at 6 oclock fail at an unacceptable rate. So dont be discouraged but don't be too skeptical here also. Take the advice to visit the dealer's section and decide for yourself.
  9. I'll wait. Like Tiger, I'll get a read from your putt before I take my shot!
  10. And stay away from this dude on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/BREITLING-GENUINE-20mm...1QQcmdZViewItem I bought a 24mm strap for my Bentley, based mostly on the engraved tang buckle, and a tang buckle is just about all I got. The leather is horrible and the color delivered was dark brown and not carmal colored as promised. Stay away big time unless the price is lowered to $9.99 ea!
  11. Is this the Tag Link everyone is talking about??? http://perfect-clones.com/tg10013-link-chr...aph-p-1075.html
  12. Went into a high end store on Friday night, one that sells Breuget, Rolex, Maurice Lacroix, Audemars Piquet and Breitlings among many others. The salesman said to me, "Thats a GT you are wearing isn't it?" "Yeah " I said casually standing in front of a tall display case that contained one $60,000 Breuget. After we oooohed and ahhhhed over that beautiful watch, I said to him "How much would a replacement strap in leather cost for the GT?" I told him the leather strap I had on it was a cheap knock off I had purchaced off ebay (it was, and what a piece of junk. Can't wait for my croc grained crema colored strap from BOB to get here!). He took the watch and gave the dial and case a long look. "That's a beautiful piece" he said handing it back to me. "Let me get you a price". Ah-HA!!!!! another victim!!!! Now, do I get that genuine strap???? $130! Not too bad and I'm sure the replica will do it justice! Chris
  13. Just be sure to check the feet first!!!!!
  14. Actually, and you're right, I'm probably defending myself far to vigorously here, but hand and foot size are the about the only issue in gender reassignment that cannot be addressed surgically. I have seen some remarkable work where you would swear up and down it is genetically female except for the feet and hands. Like our reps, there's always something to find fault with!!!
  15. You ever take a close look at Danica Patrick?????? I don't know.....?????
  16. Transsexual or transvestite????? The former has had genital sexual reassignment, the latter may have had modifications such as breast augmentation, facial feminization surgery, hormone therapy but the "equipment" remains male. Believe it or not, the feet looked a little big to me and my earlier post joking about sexual reassignment surgery was based in a little bit of doubt. Talk about bringing a thread to a screeching halt!!! Way to go Eddie!!! And by the way
  17. Hey I recognize that organic!!!! I've got plenty pumping now. Well aside from the guy claiming he had beers with Eddie and can attest to Eddie's maleness, I think we're being tuned up for a whopper here. Did he go into the hospital for some "sexual reassignment surgery"??????? If "she's" the result, wow, nice job!!!
  18. So do these three photos mean she's been replicated too? Can I order one. In this replica, I'd prefer an original Chinese movement. I think 28,000 beats per hour will do just fine!!!
  19. Engineering and design is the key here, not "finished and spit polished in Switzerland". The Swiss government's loophole filled , loosely interpreted guidelines on what constitutes Swiss Made make the trademark almost meaningless, at least as it applies to swiss watch parts made outside of Switzerland. If you want a true Swiss origins movement, you will have to go with an in-house movement from a Swiss company like AP or Girard Perregeaux etc.. The difference between a China made for ETA 2836 and a Swiss finished China made for ETA 2836...almost nothing, well except the shine and the labeling.
  20. Just consider it some gentle scolding from concerned parents. These things are not the real deal. I don't mess with what works. I stopped seriously fooling with my reps myself several years ago when I turned the screw heads on a Vacheron replica caseback only to have it fall off as it was a FAKE screw head applied to a snap on caseback. As much as you might love it, this is not a real PO. Every time you fool with it you risk doing something irreversable.
  21. Loud and Proud!!!! That's the motto of Joseph Silchz, spokesperson for those afflicted with Voice Immodulation Disorder!!! (See SNL The Best of Will Farrell)
  22. Don't know for sure but I tried to navagate through it and it's a mess. I wouldnt buy pencils from them.
  23. One of the reasons I buy good replicas is that I can wear them, impress the impressable, and not worry about wear and tear, damage, loss and theft. I have several genuines, the most expensive of which is worth about $2500 and I enjoy wearing them as well, but I have to say, I have fantasies about much more expensive timepieces that I wouldn't be anything other than paranoid about wearing. I drool over Vacherons, Pateks, Chronoswiss, IWC etc but I think these watches in my hands would be the classic car equivalent of "trailer queens", never seeing the road and rubbed with a diaper daily. I saw a double rotor, display caseback Perrelet in a magazine the other day that, if I could afford it, would immediately go into a hermedically sealed, argon filled case to be opened at the time of my death and willed to my son. It looks like a Rolex submariner at about $3500 is about the limit of my wearing comfort level. Anyting more expensive than that, I'd have to wrap a pillow around my wrist to wear it outside without sedation. Anyone else have this fantasy vs reality dilema? What watch of considerable value would you feel OK wearing on a regular basis?
