my enroute, just purchased, Breitling Navitimer - blue dial, arabic/numbers...TT case, Jakub AR... nothing on the short-term horizon...

it has to be one of my Navitimers...Navi's ARE Breitling... since Navi #3 is enroute (a modern tricompax blue dial, arabic/numbers, Jakkub AR, and TT), i'll have to choose either my v1 old tricompax black dial arabic/numbers Navi or my white dial Navi World GMT... yikes...this is tough...drum rolllllllll...i will have to go with the v1 old black dial/arabic/numbered Navi... why?...ya never know when you'll need to impress someone with an accurate slide rule... R-

Suunto watches are cool...i have a titanium suunto observer with rubber/titanium linked bracelet...it's a great watch - that unfortunately doesn't get any wrist time...i should sell it...afterall, i have the same one in polished ss which gets the call when i decide to wear this for outdoors play... I suggest a nice rubber for it or a nato...something that will breath and shed water...definitely find something waterproof...

i just posted a wtb on this watch...it's a piece i need to have in my collection...it was hot a couple years ago - but pams and sports watches seem to be taking in the spotlight lately... R-

there's a website that sells AP Roo straps...i don't know much more about it...my good friend, HikeUSA, mentioned it to me - i believe in a post...he recently was stuck in the airport and posted a whole bunch of wristies...i commented about his AP Roo Safari and he mentioned a site to get straps...search for the post or pm him... or the second option would be to give up and sell it cheaply to me... R-

i had an orange bezel UPO on ss bracelet...loved the larger hands, but otherwise felt that it would be better for me in 42mm...i can wear a 45.5mm just fine, too...thinking now that the 45.5mm UPO orange bezel on black rubber might have kept my interest... very happy with the 42mm orange on black rubber...fun, sporty and casual...

i absolutely love this watch...the dial, the simpliciity of design, the thickness of the case andddddd the display back exposing the 6497 movement... but i just can't decide if it's too large or not...at 49mm, it is largggggge...but then again, my wrist is 7.25"-7.5" depending on weather...i know there's a great looking 42mm version, but i like this model better (especially the movement)... so what do you think?!... R-

@numptyj --> i agree...i love the orange bezel on black rubber...i plan to keep the black bezel on steel... i will say, that getting the pins out of the ss bracelet to put this rubber on was tough...i had to have my son help hold/pull to get the darn thing off...and i'm using the right tool, too... the watcheden strap isn't as nice as my other rubber straps -- like the skyland, oris carlos coste, UN or Slevin...soooooo - i just ordered one from Reg... definitely a sexy combo - the orange on rubber...

a nice value watch...that was the original intent of my initial post...and the watch was inducted into the Chrgod bargain hall-of-fame thread...cool... TO ALL: RE the RUBBER STRAP --> i have the watcheden black rubber strap ordered and delivered before Reg offered his current batch...Reg's strap looks better...mine seems to be verrrry stretchy and marks easily...nowhere near the quality, texture, firmness as my Breitling Skyland Diver Pro...can someone who has the Narikaa strap comment on it in relation to the Diver Pro and/or just comment on the firmness, quality, etc in general... thanks...R

i wouldn't buy the cheap Navi...no way... some advice on inexpensive reps: check out Chrgod's bargain thread...
