  1. The watch in question is a genuine 42mm PO. Nothing fake about the watch in the photos.
  2. Yeah i definitely agree with you guys. It looks like its almost bulletproof. I also like how the seconds hand does not have a tail. Makes it look more professional for some reason.
  3. Wearing this one! A very interesting rep
  4. Definitely some good bargains....but its getting harder and harder now. I remember picking up a genuine Omega 1120 movement (the movement they put in seamasters) for $75 + shipping once. That was just unbelievable. They now go for $300 plus. Also, picked up 2nd hand tags for mere $100+ on good days. just depend on how hard u look.
  5. indisputably one of the best montages of Arnie. for your enjoyment fellas.
  6. use some WD-40 oil and let it sit for a while.
  7. welcome to this board. That rep, which only uses a cheap chinese automatic movement, should not be at that price you paid for. Stick around this board and the dealers, you will find that they are much more value for money. Look around and you will find what you need.
  8. nope, fit right on for me. You have to install the genuine click spring though.
  9. I have put a genuine bezel (whole assembly) on the particular case and it fits. Interestingly enough, the old-old closed factory model (correct HE value/serial number) is not compatible with the genuine bezel. Hope this helped.
  10. Hi everyone. Had a bit of time so I thought i would write up a few review of an interesting piece, the TAG Heuer Super Professional 1000m Divers watch. I've taken a snippet from a website introducing this watch and also its respective pictures for the purpose of this review. Click here First produced in 1984 and manufactured for 15+ years, the "super pro" is a carryover from the pre-TAG days at Heuer (TAG acquired Heuer in 1985) when they were still a respected manufacturer of professional grade timekeeping instruments. It is considered by many the last professional grade dive watch offered by the company You can see the genuine piece on ebay and auction houses from time to time. One in good condition will set you back around US$700 on average with the PVD version at a higher premium. The genuine specifications: Case Diameter: 43 mm Case Height: 14.5 mm Case length: 43 mm Lug Width: 20.5 mm Movement: ETA 2892 A2 automatic, 25j, hacking, quickest date, 28,800 bph Case material: Stainless steel, one-piece design Crown: Screw down Bezel: Uni-directional, indexed w/ 60 clicks Water resistance: 1000 meters Bracelet: TAG HEUER signed stainless steel with a locking clasp and dive suit extention Vintage: '90s-2000 The replica The replica was picked up from friends from the far east. From the surface, it looks like a nice remake. It only comes with a rubber strap and has a DG2813 movement. Strengths: case: although thinner and more square, has an essence of the original piece. dial: replicated quite well hands: although the hour hand luminous is somewhat incorrect, it isn't too bad. Weaknesses: caseback: Incorrect, the original was a solid piece with access to the movement only through the front. crown: the replica came with a non-screw down crown (I have replaced it with a similar genuine Tag heuer crown and tube. Datefont: The 22J DG2813 comes with the standard datewheel (non-eta) Pictures: Proposed modifications: Replace the crown with a genuine one. This is a must do if you want some water resistance. Replace the movement with a DG4813 high beat movement which also comes with an ETA-like datewheel. This mod will make the hands sweep smooth and a more realistic looking date. Lume the bezel indices. The replica does not have it lumed. A parting picture and I hope you enjoyed this review.
  11. The genuine watch is actually a one-piece case with access to the movement via the bezel-crystal-dial. Very neat. The replica I'm getting is not one piece but from the front-on, looks decent. Will upload pics when I get it
  12. actually on the verge of getting a rep of this watch. Comes in the mail next week. Will update with pics then.
  13. Thanks alot for that By-tor. That really is a shame. The 1675 is such a nice watch. Well we will have to just wait i guess.
  14. Thanks for chiming in By-tor. Can you give a quick run down on what are the main flaws to what the dealers are offering and the genuine piece? Thanks mate, I know your good at this stuff.
  15. Thanks for your help Val, but that is a GMT-master II. I was looking more at the vintage GMT-master I version.
  16. Hi guys, Never got into the loop of Rolexes, mainly an Omega guy, but I have been bitten by the GMT 1675 Pepsi model. So I was hoping to see if any of you guys can shed some light on who offers the best replica for this model? I have done a search but couldn't gather much Thanks in advance.
  17. is the writing on the back-case etched? or engraved? Also, the original movement should be a slow beat movement (565), so more accurate to put in a 2846 instead. Looks great though!
  18. when you remove the existing crown and crown tube, shave the crown guards down to make it look more genuine. The CGs are on the rep are nasty lol you got the green light mate.
  19. I have done a swap like this several times. The minor different in movement height is not really an issue. I haven't had any problems with mine. Only suggestion would be to get genuine hands. The rep ones don't cut it. good luck
  20. you mean one of these? replica case and bracelet. Added gen dial, hands, and omega 1538 movement. daily beater.
  21. that actually looks very very genuine. wear that well lanikai
