  1. The majority of people who might stumble across rep webistes, such as Joshua etc... may well expect a good product that functions and has good quality control. However after being part of this forum, we have bee educated that there is a very high posibility the watch we get will have a possible flaw, therefore each time we buy a replica we should have at the back of our mind that we might not receive something that is 100%. In the case that we don't get something that is perfect, I feel it is slightly hypocritical (unless it doesn't function what so ever) to then send it back and start making a fuss if for instance, peral isn't positioned in the centre, or there is a lume marker that is wonky. Reps for fun, gens for life?
  2. It's an Ultimate, has the little marker after the 10 on the top subdial and double AR
  3. My personal view is you pay your money you take your choice. Whatever we think it won't change anything. It can be annoying to be sent a watch that has a QC problem, but such is the nature of the game. It would be like buying a classic car and expecting it to run flawlessly. The rep factories turn these reps out to sell a is, if QC is desired, then the AD is the only place to buy a watch.
  4. Stunning piece, what movement does this use? Have you had the crystal AR'd? Looks stunning on the strap!
  5. Get bidding, it's real I would probably put in a bid of
  6. Corgi, Il do it on your behalf, Im now going into hiding
  7. I think the current prices are 55-70USD depending on whether you send the crystal or the watch and who you send it to
  8. Wow!! Please sell me that Portuguese
  9. The double AR on the BCE will make the dial clearer. It depends on which SMP you bought, it might be a combination of mineral glass and no inner AR that makes it slightly cloudy looking. The gen has sapphire and an inner AR coating which would make a difference to the quality of the look.
  10. Spend a bit of time having a look through the Rolex area. I would advise going for the Noobmariner, it is possibly the best out of the box replica at an untouchable price. If you are willing to spend more, and mod the watch, you can't beat an 'MBW'
  11. Very true. I was in contact with another member who had an awesome B1 replica, it was quite old and I dont think they're in production anymore, but for a cheap japanese rep, it looked very convincing, and at first glance I thought it was genuine. I suppose there wouldn't be enough demand if there were an Aerosapce rep, it's quite an acquired taste, (one that I love nonetheless). Stephane, I think a picture of your Rolex collection would be very fitting for this topic. Your collection of divers, and Freddy's collection of Daytona's leaves me speechless!
  12. Not sure if gens are permitted, but I have always had a soft spot for the Bond SMP, and earlier this year I finally bought one. I have found it to be such a versatile watch, and whilst it doesn't compare to the likes of IWC etc... for the money it is a great timepiece. I think the one rep that I would still like would be the closed factory Breitling Seawolf. I am in envy of Seadweller's!!
  13. Well since I can remember I have had always wanted to be an Officer in the Royal Air Force, however, something medical has prevented me from joining, so I am at university studying law and hoping to go into contracting and procurement. I am also considering doing the Bar Vocational Course part time once I have started working to become a Barrister as a second career at a later stage. We shall see though!
  14. This may be of some help..... http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=70653
  15. SMP for me today.......and before you ask, yes it's the best fancy dress outfit I've ever made
  16. I love these stories Nanuq! It's shameful to think that a watch can change a salesman's opinion of someone so quickly!
  17. It depends on whether you need a new TV or not. If you are in need of an updated TV go for the TV, if not, buy a couple of reps and put the rest in the bank
  18. I've never been a fan of the GP Sea Hawk, I don't know why as I do like diving watches. I know it has a big following though so would be great to see a rep of it!
  19. As far as I know the only difference between the two is that the GT has a brushed finish, and a ltd ed case back, the two dials should be the same colour. I saw a white Bentley a few days ago, it doesn't seem pure white, but it's not creamy. I guess off white is the best description.
  20. Yes I am abit of a car nut. I used to own the DOHC Vtec civics in my teenage years, never got around to going on any track days unfortunately. I think my three favourite cars are; Aston Martin DB5 Pagani Zonda F Ferrari 250GTO I think Audi have certainly made the top of my favourite brand list. Design is subtle, but performance and quality is on a par with the best. Don't get me started on the R8 EDITED UncleJay, that is a beautiful Stingray! I have a second cousin in the US who used to own one. They are such a bnice looking car! What are they like to drive? Are they fairly reliable for their age?
  21. I always felt the Ultimate BCE bracelet was very good, unless they have changed the design since buying mine? As for the rider tab, try removing the screw and applying a tiny tiny bit of glue just to hold it in place.
  22. Brilliant review of a classic watch! Thank you!
