  1. But in QC'ing the watches that means they have to inspect every single watch. Using dropshipping, it dramatically reduces the amount of time they spend on each watch. If they are selling 100's per week (just a number from the air) I am pretty certain the time/money they save from dropshipping would outwiegh the cost of employing more people to QC the watches prior to sending them out. This i very true, however, it could also be said that the sellers here are not doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. Therefore if it was truley cheaper to QC than it was to replace a few faulty watches, I'm sure they would.
  2. I think it is just due to the date font. If you put Swiss ETA datewheels in there, the font is squarer as per the genuine.
  3. Love the look of this Pam! You can find Sead on the RG forum.
  4. If it came out, it'll go back in, find someone else to reinstall it for you, with all the work on that watch, the crystal with Double AR will be the final touch!
  5. Nice Fiddy, I used to own Angus' Ultimate, and they are very well made, wear it well!
  6. Just wondering what happened to Hugh in the third picture Nice Pam!
  7. Angus isn't based in the UK, but you shouldn't have any problems ordering from him, I never have, he is a great 'collector' As far as the differences, the only main difference I am aware of is that the 111e is a sausagedial (lume is applied onto the dial) and the 111h is a sandwich dial (lume is underneath and the numbers and markers are cut out of the black part of the dial and layered on top).
  8. I believe it is the same as the PO which would be in between C1 and C3. It isn't as green as C3 but seems to glow like it.
  9. The SOSF always wore like a gen, a very good quality replica!
  10. Very nice SA!A true Breitling that one!
  11. That is an impressive garden! Would love to see a shot of the back of the house (castle)
  12. It was rumoured to be in the production stages late last year, but I haven't heard anything more since then. Fingers crossed they're still working on it along with the BP!
  13. I used to play for fun, so Id be interested if there was a small stakes table set up!
  14. This may be of some use; http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=70653
  15. I don't think much has changed though. The movements are getting better, and the quality of the watches is far better than when I first started collecting reps. I don't see that the watches these days are any less reliable, in fact I would say on the contrary. I think it is our expectations that have increased. The dollar is weak, so prices seem to have gone up, the quality of the watches is improving almost to gen standard now, so we expect more. When we start buying reps thinking we will get reliable genuine like watches, that is when this hobby becomes worthless. I truely believe we should only buy reps for fun, otherwise one will always be disappointed.
  16. In terms of the 'prestige ladder' Tag Heuer would come above Oris. However I could not comment on build quality. I've heard many reports that genuine Tag's are not all that brilliant when compared to Omega in terms of build quality. I cannot give a subjective view on this because the last Tag I handled was a while ago, and I wasn't really looking at the build quality.
  17. I remember having a 005 from Davidsen, I could not fault the quality it was incredible. However I met with another board member who had some modded pieces, and it made mine look insignificant. For the extra moeny modded is the only way to, for a cheaper Pam, Angus' Ultimates are pretty good. Hope you get your problem sorted Unclejay, a Pam on your wrist whilst driving that Stingray would go nicely
  18. Great video Pix! I would love to buy one of these now I know what they look like, but I fear I would never get any work done, my whole day would be spent watching the movement!
  19. People who go to buy a Hublot would still buy a Hublot regardless of whether they can get a replica for cheaper. The kind of person that spends that amount on a watch that has little history when compared to Rolex/IWC etc... won't let the possbility of getting a rep for 10% of the price affect their purchase. I on the other hand.....
  20. Would the movement come with a beneficial service from factory (or sealed movement that doesn't require servicing) If it does, you could buy one of these, swap the Swiss movement into something like an IWC, then put the asian into this!
  21. Arrgghhh get out of here Sturb Well it looks like it's going to penalties.....
  22. Im into a whole range of different things to list a few; Watches Art Architecture Martial Arts Tennis Football Running Current Affairs and of course being with the girlfriend
