Short term manipulation of supply/demand. Honestly dont think they will sell many more then the initial rush at these prices.

There were other post where biver was saying that josh and andrew were using pictures of real/gen watches and would surely send you a cheap copy. Problem was as we all know they were using pictures of the rep, and im sure had quite a few people questioning how you could get a $300 copy of a $20k watch that fooled the ceo that produced them.

On my gen the second hand faded until it was white, and the bezel pearl was always greenish, while the bezel lume was a milky/yellow, yellowing more over time.

Flame away, but I actually like the dial, the rest um not so much.

Except in reality they would want 850 which is not reasonable.

HK and I had a heated discussion with some other member about a year ago regarding the YM's... It's just about the most varied model of all modern rolex'es. You can easily walk into an AD that has multiple YM's and see differances on each one from the color of the dial to the spacing of the swiss and the color of the font. On that 2007 pic if you asked for rep/gen i would say rep because of the: the light red font, bezel spacing, and jumbo crown... but I can believe its gen.

Corgi, to each his own. Although I would disagree on VC and Patek, in my opinion the reps of those are even more foolish looking. Never liked Tag (rep or gen) or Panerai (lord and wife know i've tried more then a few) and no longer have any omegas. I now have 1 or 2 icons from each brand in my rep collection. When they stop getting worn they get sold of for something differant, but I still have my diamond bezel brit evo on leather and diamond bezel president. They are not daily wearers but work well for the right occasion.

gen did come with this swiss made and the half markers, see below: And after looking at that second dial again are we sure that is not gen dial, printing is a little fuzzy but it looks older. Date window is excellent as is the coronet on the dial. Very smooth marker outlines also for a factory sample (compare the triangles to really see this). Also the texture on the gen often photographs muted, and vary alot from one dial to the next even at the AD.

Decent shine, comparable with a few of the aftermarket bezels (which I would guess over 50% of the diamonds bezels on gens are aftermarket).

This is my president from ruby. Never been asked if its real, dont wear it that often but it goes well with my lexus on 20's or navigator on 24's.

Exupery is 21/18, you could get a differant buckle but 20mm would be just a bit skinny at the lugs.

I think the hype over the UPO is over, doubt you'll see another/better version.

I just got my brown buffalo in, its very dark brown but it makes the watch look and feel amazing. It's now a watch I love.

Looks awesome (on the other pics silix posted), decent date window, good cross... Looks like a winner to me.

Alot of it is luck of the draw to begin with, almost any rep (excluding 7750 second @6) should be reliable with service. My SFSO died after a week, but i didn't send it back because I planned on getting it service anyway just havent gotten around to it.

Still less then any one of the gens. Excellent collection, wondered who picked up the mellow yellow. AP ROO is on my list. Love the avitar too, been looking for a nice 911 turbo (966).
