They are two differant dials, grey has white letters... Graphite has red letter, but the subdial colors are wrong on the graphite.

This just goes to show how good our reps are. Some people collect reps some gens, that whole thread started because some guy got ripped off and spent thousands on a replica that "his" friend told him was real and thats not right. The guy who originally posted the rep a few days ago thought it was real and it wasn't until people here pm'ed him did he contact hublot and they told him his watch was fake which spurred Mike Margolis to post pictures from one of the three forums, so someont here told him where to come or he's a secret member. I would bet there many members here on timezone. Its the assholes that sell the reps as gens that [censored] up everything for the rest of us.

The case edge of the rubber looks pretty rough, hopefully QC will be high on this when released and just have not been addressed on the trial unit angus got to photograph.

I was just telling the wife last night before seeing this thread it was a rep. Date is sunk more then the gen and the flat dial is beveled where the carbon dial you posted is not, although I've seen a few hublot that a somewhat sunk. Second hand comes like the rep (with red paint stopping before the h) on some models but never has on the SS/Rubber (although it has on the SS/SS, crazy). The boldness of the datefont is an easy give away head on. The screws are not aligned on the gen. Someone also just posted about the Istanbul they bought, which is the SS/Rose Gold bezel (the other rep) and is very rare and hard to find at this point. So he probably has a rep as well, although I think the first guy knew his was a rep.

Has anyone created a thread on taking apart and repairing or lubing the cheapie. I've seen a few people have said they've done it on a few threads but not a post that actually discussing the take apart of the winders. I have one that should probably be oiled before it gets any louder.

I would expect at least a 25-30 hour reserve. (Alot more then 6 hours for sure).

Of the 9-7750 reps I've owned 2 have had issues, one was a daytona @ 6, then other runs about 2 minutes slow a day. The rest run like champs. Fathers gen hamilton with ETA 7750 runs about 4 minutes slow a day after 1.5 years.

Maybe it would be possible to get a high res pic from angus, since the watchmaker had a gen they were working with. Also it might be worth it to put a bug in rjb and The Zigmeister's ear that if they work a gen breitling (which i believe they both have occasionally in the past) to get a high res picture if someone is serious about this project. From the last datewheel posts though I would say its probably not a project for the faint of heart.

If its slipping try running it to 45 seconds and reset Run it to 15 seconds and reset to move it the other way. Once you get it where you want do not run the chorno again until you find a watchmaker that will glue the chrono hand on the post for you.

Regardless if it has A/R or not it is genuine and you have the paperwork to prove. Many times the outer a/r get removed for one reason or another. If it really bothers you jump on the A/R thread that was going around a week or two ago and have it re-A/R'ed.

So many people do not realize that gen's have their issues and quality control snafu's too. (not to the extent many reps do but no brand is perfect 100% of the time). Good that this is getting taken care of so quickly.

I dont think the photo does it justice (much like the standard ultimate evo), you need at least a wrist shot if not to just see it in person. This was one of the watches I tried on in St. Admin (along with the big bang, which I also ordered), the diamonds just called to me more then the standard.

I ordered the CZ version, along with a hublot big bang this week from angus... May order a white dial evo to swap though. I never understood why on a all polished evo they would put a brushed bezel, to me the shine of the "ice" compliments the shiny case better then the dull bezel. Only evo I'd prefer more is the Black MOP, now that is a sweet watch.
