Its just hard to tell generally, even if I took pics of my gen for comparison.. The new bezel insert you have on looks great, on the gen its a kinda really bright silver so much that it looks white until you pay close attention. As for reflection because its ceramic it should have quite a strong, clear reflection thats more mirror like (and doesnt warp the image its reflecting) where as plasticy inserts would warp the reflection. Best way I can describe it!

As I've said in the shoutbox, the problem with live chat is it kills the forum activity really. Sure the activity is good on the chat room but otherwise isnt great.. Have experience of this when I managed a popular forum of my own once. Given the nature of the hobby and the content which seems to be mostly picture centric, I don't see chat as a more effective means of communication for us, thats what the shoutbox is for I guess! Just my opinion though..

None of you guys seemed too interested in this in the wrist check, although I know you guys are interested in it really. So lets give this its own thread. I think combining watches with clothing is a particular importance, I couldnt for example wear my nice purple Armani fitted shirt then my large Breitling, it wouldnt fit under the cuff and would colour clash. But this looks pretty good: As stated in the wrist check, Armani black jeans, Green Lyle & Scott Polo. GMT IIc With that said, show me what you're wearing with your watches, let me know your favourite combos and ways of emphasising the style and theme of the watch your wearing! Selfridges special colour is that particular bright Yellow, they were having as many items as they can commisioned for Selfridges 100th Birthday.. Special Limited Editions were made for all sorts of things.. Selfridges Yellow Limited Lacoste Shirts, Louis Vuitton Trunks with Bright Yellow Lining, Bright yellow converse.. In the watch section, Hublot seemed to be the only ones to make a special piece aside from 'Toywatch' and this is it.

Aha! but ubi.. How much of a perfectionist are you? I ask because, Daytonas are more difficult.. in Rolex marketing Daytonas are set at 10:11 with Reduced seconds at 31 But.. Chrono seconds at 54 Chrono minutes at 6 Chrono hours at 9

Saw this in the flesh at Selfridges, it looks 'ok'. That picture makes it look better than it really is in my opinion.

I guess its because the black large second hand is for the double chronograph, a function that is not replicated. So they simply left it out. Your running seconds should be the reduced (small hand) at 9. Hope this helps!

The fact that they are announcing this with absolutely no news on the current preordered 2 products is absolutely outrageous, I'm starting to really frown at these business practices..

I really like these pictures, theres something aesthetically pleasing about them all being the same shape and fitting into each other Id like to see a pic of them all front on though? I'm surprised people buy the gold Hublots so much, doesn't the plating wear on them quickly?

So heres an idea.. since we have a new style section.. how about a whole OUTFIT check for the day! I'm having alot of trouble taking pics recently I seem to have lost any and all flare for taking sharp pictures, also it doesn't help that I find the GMT II the hardest watch to photograph ever.. Ubi, that is absolutely hilarious.. but I personally think it's small OCD 'flinches' like that, that explain your eventual extreme attention to detail in many ways. It's like.. a level of particularity.. you know?

Actually it varies from company to company slightly. Pug, your Rolex pic isnt an official Rolex pic. Rolex often use 10:11:31 with the Date 28, for example.
