I just saw one with the same numbers but a regular size at JJ-market in BKK for around $750 (it's looks original and/but feels very flimsy).... I politely declined (maybe I shouldn't have...)

Just bought these two at MBK from Nah Piek: I am no expert, but they feel more solid than any other vintage Rolex reps I have had before and they guy was very nice and helpful (helped me have my gen crystal installed - to verify that it fits)....

1665 GWSD:

The test lab is the pool at LUXX XL hotel in Bangkok, a great place at a very affordable rate. I wish I could stay longer ... The photos were edited using Lightroom with the "lomo" preset

Just picked this up at MBK and had my gen T-39 service crystal installed: Still needs some work, but the watch feels very solid

I ordered one yesterday (before I even saw this post - small world ...). I should have it by the end of the month and will take some pics (if nobody gets one before)

I know what you mean, but I already have a smaller and lower case with a more correct bezel (this one is fantasy-kind-of-big) and since I want turn this one into a "destro" version I actually prefer the bigger size (yes, I know, the purists won't approve, but it's for me and I think it will still look great. The dial is really very nice with light cream colored markers and a nice uneven pattern - I will take better pics tomorrow with daylight and not in a dark BKK hotel room. I hope once I age the case and bezel insert and square off the edge of the bezel it will look fine. And of course a different crown.... I have to confess: I am addicted by now and your pics, Freddy333, for sure didn't help to keep me on the right path

New from MBK: And tomorrow my other new pick-up: GWSD (already with gen Tropic 39 (service crystal)

Love the dial, now you have to do the case to make it look right ...
