  1. Sorry it's a one of, but I do take on projects like this, You just have to be patient since sourcing the base box can take some time. Of course, there is just a small 4-digit administrative fee added
  2. I was asked to come up with an idea for a box for a members vintage Rolex watches. For a long time I couldn't come up with something and I wanted to do something different than the Panerai-style boxes I had made before. Then I found this nice dark really old small box in an antique store and knew I had a good base for the project. Here is the result:
  3. One hide I actually used the other one (the coral) we tried to tan it so it would keep it's natural colors, but it didn't work. Snakes $139, Cayman/Crocs $159 (including shipping)
  4. Interesting considering this thread of yours: Survivor strap in croc for sale now #1 Dani 46 - Vale Group:VIP Member Feedback:11 Posts:3,587 Joined:13-March 06 Gender:Male Location:Scandinavia Posted 06 June 2010 - 09:28 AM hxxp://www.1-pc8838.com/apa10018-black-horn-back-leather-strap-buckle-survivor-p-8864.html replace xx whit TT. 128$ shipped. Changed your mind or just don't like it when the exotics don't come from the manufacturer? Wonder how you would feel when you reach in your closet to grab a t-shirt and find a snake sitting right underneath it? Happened to me twice, one coral and one rattle snake. Oh yes I DID KILL THEM Thanks for sharing your opinion anyway, now enjoy some berries and hug a tree
  5. Some members asked me to take pics of the different straps on the watch and some wrist shots. I am really pressed for time today and the weather was really shifty, so this is the best I could come up with during lunch hour: While I love the dark brown croc the grey snake looks the best with it's monochrome feel IMO:
  6. You are right, but I ran out of black shark skin. It's already ordered
  7. I love this watch (I missed my cheap Wempe rep all the time).Bought V1 and already have V2 waiting for me in Miami (I hope). But as nice as the rubber rep strap is, sometimes I want something different. So I made a few options: Tan Cayman Hornback: Tan Boa: Grey Boa: Brown Boa: Chocolate Croc: I have a black Cayman, but still needs stitching (silver thread which should look great with the watch). I hope you enjoyed watching.
  8. I regret selling all of these: Especially these movements:
  9. AP Diver 9 (still V1, V2 is on the way) on first prototype strap:
  10. And Kingkaiser is one of the people that make this place so special. He went out of his way to buy a watch for me on a trip to BKK.. Thanks again
  11. Sorry, Preview only has an arrow tool (consider it a short straight line):
  12. And I am not even American
  13. Just saw this for the first time. This thread is a prime example for the knowledge, ingenuity and spirt of this great forum. Congratulations to all fo you who contributed. I am sure once the final result is revealed you can all be very proud of this great cooperation of unselfish individuals. One day in the future we all should maybe take the best of these custom projects and really present them to the respective watch companies. Independent form any outcome it would be very interesting to see the reaction.
  14. Piccked this old piece up on ebay (mainly for the acrylic bezel and the movement), thinking of building something non-branded custom with a different case (FF like maybe). Threw on a silver tropic rubber and it wears quite well and has a great 60's/70's feel:
  15. I think I have a MBW Submariner 5512 dial somewhere. PM me if you want me to look.
  16. Nice Cosmographs today. No watch for me, but I could wear her easily on my wrist: Luna - 4 pounds of joy (needle-like teeth and lot's of poop): Taking a nap with uncle Bo:
  17. Looks very nice. Do you know if Paul has them in PVD as well? What watch is it for and what material do you want to use?
  18. Base watch is from Pure Time, bezel assembly is from NDT, dial is from InGod, crystal from Clark.
