In case you can;t go through with my first suggestion, I could also offer you my GF (not necessarily as a trade, more as an alternative):
She will let you have as many watches as you want, you just have to make sure there is constant supply of marsh mellows:)
Just came across this:

I am no AP specialist, but the date window looks better (square) and supposedly the crown at 10 does move the inner bezel ring.
A black date wheel would be nice though
What do you think???
PS: Already ordered my V1 from Robert and no, I am not affiliated in any way with kurvasitwatch.com nor do I endorse them
Just beautiful. If I wouldn't live where all I wear are flip-flops I would get a pair too.
I bet they just get nicer every year (I remember my Alden horse leather shoes were like that when I still lived in cold old Germany )

Than I dropped it off at the watch smith for a little make over (yuki hands and gen plexi - THANKS MARTIN )

My first iPhone pics
Even if it is maybe not that accurate, the new case from Josh (5510) is better than the MBK (low crown position) and could probably take a bigger 8mm crown:
Looks actually not so bad after some modifications:
Here with his 6538 brother:

I hold a burning cigarette very close to the markers until I get rid off the yellow color, then I toast the dial and ad a coat of clear matt varnish.
On this particular one I also blew some cigarette smoke in a tall glass and flipped it over the dial so the smoke would settle on it and then toasted it one more time (that's when the markers really got burned).
Here another pic (the markers on the 6538 were just as yellow before):
After looking up www.tudorcollector.com I saw this pic and I think these are 358 endlinks (but then it's a gen case - I assume).
Looks like the trick might be to bend up the "ears" a bit so the endlink sits a bit higher:
Just thought I ad to the thread.
BTW - my 580s suck big time on the DW case
