I build this one and decided to create a box for it too. I know it's more fantasy, but I wore it for a day and never had so many people comment about "what a cool watch" I was wearing: Right now the caseback is at the engraver trying to recreate this:

$360 is my bid, so this thing doesn't fall asleep I never owned a quartz movement I think

I have met Cameron Weiss in person a few weeks ago and he seems a nice enough guy, but I can't say anything regarding authenticity of his products. I bought some blank submariner pearls from him at a great price (haven't used them yet), but that mag looks very week to me (usually the date window fills the whole are of the mag xtal).

Yes the 30 minute counter is the one issue, but for me it's not that important (I can;t remember when I ever used the chrono functions to be honest.

The master has spoken and the student will go ahead and order NOW I can't wait to get the watch back from the watch smith, he is making a little clip right now that is holding on of the pusher levers down and that was missing. Otherwise dial, case and hands fit perfectly together (he had to widen the holes of the hands though) and I honestly think that the 7732 feels superior to the 7734 IMO ( a lot more refined)

Very impressive, definitely makes we want to get a pair. How much are they? I wil be in Europe soon and would love to get a pair made.

I toasted the dial and then sprayed some matt clear coat on it. I think I came out nice (I get Freddy's point though, but the rep dial looked kind of plain and cheap, now it has some character at least).

Case is from a 6536 I bought from a member here and dial and movement are from a 1675 I bought from Josh, Clarks crystal and gen crown for now. Just gave the dial some texture and patina:

Finally had some time to play with newly arrived parts and start two projects I had planed for a while now: 1) Tudor 7032 (I really want a 7031, but can't find a black bezel at a reasonable price): DW case set and a Valjoux 7732 (I am gonna let my watch smith do final transplant, keeping my fingers crossed that everything will fit): 2) PAN-AM inspired 6542 GMT Still need to age the dial and hands, but I really like the faded blue bezel. Gen crown and Clark's plexi: Hopefully I can install my Angelus tomorrow in it's new case and finally finish a 9 months project.

Finally got some time to play around with some of the straps and stuff I made/got for myself and since I haven't posted a thread in a while I took some pics. There is really no story line but here you go: Russian field phone I bought as a prop (not that I have any Russian watches, but it looks vintage): My ongoing Angelus project: I bought and made a few different buckles which I finally used for some straps: Athaya GPF 24mm: Rolexfinder Pre-V buckle: Scorched and aged laser-cut buckle: Stamped and aged laser-cut GPF buckle on a vintage-vintage saddle leather strap: Another attempt at a machine stitched strap: and my new favorite: vintage speedbag strap: still had some space left on the flash card :

Something I was working on today (still need to shorten the crown stem and I am waiting for new CG screws and a NW CB): Have to build more watches since my GF has discovered her love for vintage timepieces and despite giving her this one she keeps digging into my watchbox:

So which tube for which models? I think this info would make this thread even more valuable...

The caseback looks pretty deep. Is that for a 7750 automatic?
