  1. Looks very very nice
  2. Supposedly it took flyingwedege a few dials to get it right. So there might be some discrepancies between different dials ...
  3. Ok, I will let you know when I get it and THANKS
  4. So you think it might not fit? Too high? Here the promised pic of the dial (not too good sorry and apology to the OP for thread hijacking):
  5. I am having trouble finding info on the 7732 myself, but here it is in the flesh: Size is the same as 7734 (31.05mm). My DW 7032 case is on the way, let's hope I can stick it in there, unless the experts see a problem already, if so please advise
  6. Leather or nylon?
  7. Just for inspiration:
  8. I have seen them pop up on ebay from time to time ....
  9. Here are my two:
  10. I am not sure where I git the plexi from (it was floating in my parts box), but if you want I can measure it. I think I bought it from a big crystal supplier when I ordered a bunch to play around with for my vintage Panerai builds....
  11. It has a cheapo 21j automatic movement in it (it has two different date windows (one at 6 and one at 4)
  12. I always wanted to have one and finally i ordered one to try it out. Inspiration came from this: I received this: I really didn't like it a lot, too shiny, too new, too cheap looking. So I took it apart, replaced the horrible mineral crystal for a domed plexi, aged the hands, matt-coated the dial, smoked the inner rotating bezel, rounded of the case a bit more, sanded sown the caseback, blackened the groves on the bezel (would love to ship it to have it DLC'ed) and mounted a vintage leather strap (that I borrowed from my GF's watch)... Now it looks like that: What do you think (I know it's pure fantasy)?
  13. I am with Freddy today (after a little bezel swap):
  14. Went tap hunting today and found the 3mmx.35 and the 4mmx.35 (for the 8mm crown, I took it with me and had them measure it), I found them at Dewitt Tools, 6550 NW 72nd Avenue, Miami, 305-8881450.
  15. With a big thanks to flyingwedge, this won't leave my wrist all week (had to change the bracelet though, just can't deal with the flimsy gen version:) )
  16. Beautiful and those "7"s are really special
  17. Looks so .... gen. Great work. Love the sticker on the back, makes it look even more gen.
  18. Beautiful shot farmer !!!
  19. I got a 2in1: a 3in1: a 4in1: a 5in1: and a 9in1:
  20. I will go and measure mine now .... 3.95mm diameter and 3.5mm for 10 rings of the thread. So I am assuming you need a 4.0mm 0.35 tap Experts can you please confirm that and maybe also tell us: WHERE WE CAN BUY IT
  21. But this one looks good. Let me go and find one....
