what are the cosmetic differences between a valjoux 23 case kit and a valjoux 72 case kit? I know V72 has 3 subdials while V23 has 2 subdials. What happens then with the subdial at 6? THanks, and nice watches yours pitimany

First time I hear about modding the rotor. You can however replace rep movement and put genuine swiss made 38 jewels eta 2836. that should be ok.

You can buy a Valjoux 23 case kit too, movements are cheaper I dont know if valjoux 23 case features asymmetric pushers however. I have seen some case kits for sale in ebay, I think you can get them cheaper here. Obviously you are in the best place to start such project. Welcome!

Ubi, are you saying that crystal is genuine? Is it possible to put a genuine crystal into a rep case? Where did watch came from, River, Eddielee?

I love the raised and thick TW crystals... I took a look at mbw 16610 from a forum member...aint like the tw sub. No thick crystal at all.

why was diffcicult to fit? I heard that you can order 2 types of cases depending on the movement you plan to install: V72 case V23 case with mistery movement. so if you order the v72 case, what was the problem then?

Hi all! A friend of mine wants to buy a rep for his eldest brother. He knows i like reps and has asked me to recommend him the best airking out there, blue dial... Asking the question who has the best airking would be stupid.... I just want to know (from your past experiences, hearings...) which version is best, the CN or the TW Angus Version (presumibly from TW) Addie Lee version (I think his are from TW too) and finally Joshua version (his reps come from CN right?) I have heard that Joshua delivers well, furthermore he seems to have the blue airking in stock. Thanks for your opinions. pd: I know that silix sells a good airking rep, but my friend wants to have the watch with eta, not asian.

I dont like the red triangle too much, I like it white...anyway I will vintagize the insert by the detergent method... About dial, will it be vintagized? If yes, less job for me...haha About the oyster band...How will the oyster links be? Will all they have the same width? You know...vintage oyster bands style.
