call my crazy - but this looks as good/bad as MBW 2 me : 5512 you have to completely overwork the case - same as on an MBW. you need a new plexi - you get them in all kind of shapes and sizes - no need for the real deal. pop out the ugly pearl and bleach the insert ... and bingo .. alot of $$ saved MBWs are nice - other cases maybe nicer ... some put even gen movements in them ... you still don't have a gen if you want to spent more than 300$ - get the gen ... 14060, older 5513 or a nice Tudor - they all relatively cheap at the moment. cheers, Frank

had a visit to the watch-repair-ferry again - saw some nice member watches and picket up 2 of mine - the Bulova is 41 years old - needed a donor movement for parts - but running now perfect the movement is as nice as a Rolex movement of that time and the dial is made by Singer the Squale had long and very hard 35+ years under the burning Sicilian-sun a lot of WABI - but at least its ticking again. mille gracie bello !!! maybe im cracy - but could it be that the rep factorys use different steel / finnishing tecs ? imho the "steel" on the SSD look more gen like than Rollies form the "Nobb Factory" .... cheers, Frank
