  1. Very nice work! I would go with no cyclops as it shows off a very nice dial and really not needed.
  2. 50% distilled water 50% alcohol (70%). mist and rub with a high quality microfiber towel. Good for screens & mirrors, windows also
  3. I sourced a VR3135 balance complete from eBay and it's working great! It has the same purple spring as the one I removed. $20 solution. The balance staff is the first part I encountered that doesn't fit with a Rolex part.
  4. Welcome from Ballard! There's a lot of information and friendly members
  5. Excellent addition! Thanks
  6. Very helpful. I'm waiting for a new balance. I'll report if it's a fit. Great comparison. thanks, Jim
  7. Agreed! I've used Superior Rolex parts for years without issue. Same thing for Seiko forums. If it's not Gen Seiko your watch is not gen unless it has Seiko parts. Good luck telling the difference since no one can tell when they open the watch to service.
  8. I've got a 3135 out of a NOOB Sub with a broken staff. I've tried staffs for a Rolex 3135 and an ETA. Neither fit. Is there a source for parts or a new movement?
  9. thanks for the incredible detail on every aspect of the watch! Much appreciated
  10. It's been a long time since I've logged in on a regular basis. I really enjoyed Tribals review and comparison of the new sub. Thanks! Jimster
  11. An old timer would like to know where you sourced this watch.

    Thanks, Jimster

  12. Nice dial. Where did ou source it and is it a fully working chrono? Thanks,
