  1. Feeling a bit "Square" today. Enjoy your weekend!
  2. Hey, where'd that dial come from? Very nice!
  3. Begging for a dial and handset to make this one right: What is it? Gen Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 1002 case-set. The dial is what it is. The movement is a Gen 2892.
  4. Still having fun with this budget GMT:
  5. My word man, don't you have enough on your plate? Now you are concerned with Pic quality? You seemed to have a pretty good record of great pics....at least in my opinion.
  6. After playing around with various reps. ( Rolex), Modding them with Gen parts (Crowns, tubes, crystals), Shaoing cases and CG’s, and then selling them to various members (Stephane showed one in his post), I decided I would build an Ultimate Franken of what I believe is the most beautiful Rolex I ever laid eyes on. It would be from the year of my birth 1963 and it would have this dial: I started collecting the pieces such as Crown, Tube, bezel assembly, crystal and movement. All Genuine of course. Then I got a donor watch: 1963 Oyster Perpetual Date with 1560 mov’t. Decided the dial was too valuable to put into a Franken, I sold it for a pile-O-cash $$$$$. I bought this: And these: And sent them to The Zigmeister. Bought a case from NDT for big $$$, shaped the CG’s to pointy and built this: Also seen in the pic is a Tudor with Gen dial(from Ubi). Needless to say, and Sad to think about…..it is gone. Sold to a Member. And then the cruel hand of fate smacked me upside the head and dropped this into my lap: Yes, 1963 Gilt Pointed CG All original and unmolested by any polishing. Sadly I couldn’t afford it but I managed to find it a nice home with a member here. I really don’t want to travel back in time anymore as there have been too many watches(all gone) and many Gens that I have brought to members here. Such as: Genuine Omega Moonwatch (Pugster) Genuine GMT Fat Lady(2) One to Lani the other to a member I can’t recall. Genuine Rolex Zephyr Genuine Rolex GMT II Ceramic and genuine Rolex Yachtmaster – Member here Many others. So while not as skilled at modding, I still enjoy helping members whenever I can. RWG, Family, Friends, Forever!
  7. Yeah, gonna have to clear it out soon. It's so........funky y'know.
  8. Thought about one of these: But settled on this piece-O-crap:
  9. 40mm Project watch that I need a CG for...or at least the lever. Please help :-)
  10. Pretty direct source and quick hands......no melted gaskets
  11. I've done it without removing the crystal but hey, I'm a wild and crazy guy!
  12. Heat it with a cigar lighter or similar then using a very sharp chisel, give it a good rap.
  13. Whats the issue other than that the cyclops is not re-usable. Easy to replace. Keep going, get the rest off and enjoy the watch.
  14. Looking for a CG for a 40mm pam. Anybody have a spare? High end not critical.....just functioning. Thanks, Kurt
