  1. Looks great Stilty! I remember you showing us that display back a while ago when you were working on this one. One question though - are those the correct endlinks? They look a little off to me.
  2. Well done! Not a fan of gold watches personally, but this one looks quite nice If the hands are too small, then they are great candidates for broaching. Search eBay for a selling called FInding King and buy a cheap broaching set to open up the hand tubes a little bit more.
  3. Hey V. That's a great little device there. Was there any dispute as to who's fault it was? Glad you and your passenger are ok.
  4. Here's a rare example for sale on eBay - a PVD Military Autavia. Nicely priced at GBP 3000.00 Take a look here
  5. Do a search for Domi - member name Bricciola. He's the EU watch expert!!!
  6. Welcome Tim! I love your Tag in the other post!

    IR Shots

Now we're talking! I really like that shot of the Canoe storage shed!
  8. It's weird how that happens, isn't it? I originally joined to find decent Omega's. Now the only one I have is the original one I bought in downtown LA. I got bit by the Tudor & Rolex bug as well. I've been up and down with my rep count, and now I'm down to 4. For the last several months, I only had three. As for making your watch your own, I feel the exact same way. I know every ding, nick and scratch on my Tudor - and every one was one that I did in my day to day life. Those little subtle marks are what make that Tudor mine and why I love wearing it so much every single day.
  9. You got a box and extra bracelet with it too? Great pick up! It looks really good!!
  10. Actually it's a De Grippling pin. It's found in the same section of the hardware store as a Round Square....
  11. Wow! Even better! Thanks for posting that link!!!
  12. Wasn't sure if anyone's seen this, but I found this while browsing google for Slytech Black Seal pics. Looks like blueprints for the design
  13. Agreed. Looks like an old Bergeon Cannon Pinion Remover I like this game!
  14. Looking forward to seeing some pics of this one R! It's one of the only AP's I really like even if it is totally wrong
  15. Wait a minute....isn't this the watch that was supposedly QC'd before you purchased it?
  16. Come on folks! I know there are more of you out here!!! Let's round up some members for a GTG and get an opportunity to meet Ubi!!
  17. All you ever have to do is ask Teejay and it's done. My thoughts and prayers to you, Nicola, Robin & Emily. Stay positive my friend and that will help tremendously.
  18. Yeah I thought that was pretty humorous myself, but hey, it really does look good! May not be a ruby, but his claim of "Correct Cabachon Crown" is pretty spot on. It's hard to capture in a picture, but there are certain angles that you can hold the watch in and the crown shines this really beautiful deep blue color. I'm really blown away by the quality of it. Once I get the HK Tan strap and gen clasp mounted, I think it will be perfect As it is, the rep strap has a very plastic feel (and smell) to it. It's also just a little bit too thick for the gen clasp.
