Just curious if there are any mac based pro tools recording folks here? I have a fully cracked version of Pro Tools 8 HD that runs on any Intel mac without any Digidesign audio interface needed!!! Works great with just standard core audio!!!
Thanks S! I'm looking forward to it
UPDATE: So we are a go for Sunday, but still trying to narrow down the time with Ubi. It should be around 6 or 7ish (maybe . I should find out hopefully tomorrow. I'll keep you all posted. Once I have the time I will lock down the location.
That looks pretty decent actually. The hands are completely wrong. The square end looks more diamond shaped, and they are way too fat. However, the case looks decent. It's interesting that they are loading in a 2836-2 in there.
They are a great beater Nanuq! I love mine and wear it nearly everyday!!
My understanding from when I started to build mine, was the old style MBW 5513 Polex case was the best case offering for this. I have absolutely no idea where my case comes from, as it is a superb case. I think its a Vietnam release, but the original owner didn't tell me where on earth they sourced it from.
Dial's pretty much need to be gen as well as the hands. At least, that's what I would suggest. There is nothing quite like a gen dial
I admit I went way overboard on my Franken, but it turned out so nicely that I definitely will never complain!
The Yuki case looks decent from first glance. Will they sell just the case set? Comparing it to mine now and I'd say the caseback looks too thick. The CG's (as you pointed out) will need some love. Rehaut looks to be a little wokish to me. Hands all look too thick and the square hour hand looks a little off. Doesn't look quite square enough.
Just my 0.02
Some amazing photos and a great video review of the features of the watch! Very great find!! I never realized the complexity of the gen bracelet. I like how easily adjustable it is.
That silver GTS is a beauty BT! I too have always liked the styling of the 928. Something about it always brings back great memories of my teenage years, lusting after one when they first came out
When it comes to something like that, I am always very, very cautious about ordering online. I bought mine from the Walking Co in my local mall, but I realize, you being in Hungary, that going to your local shoe store might pose a problem. I have to admit, they do the job quite nicely! I am on my feet for most of my 8 - 9 hour shift everyday and they definitely relieve the back pain and keep my feet comfortable.
Personally I really don't like the silver sub-dial on the 88. I don't know why, but it really rubs me wrong for some reason. I prefer the 89 for it's simpler dial.
For me, the nicest GMT is the 029 with it's tuxedo dial
