  1. The expensive ones are what prompted me to search for this. The Gerstner Tool chests are a work of art, but ridiculously expensive!
  2. Yup....a little shopping from down under to complete the set. Yes, it is a sapphire kit. @ Highhoey - almost correct. No UV glue in the kit yet. Sapphire polishing kit from watchbitz. Also no hand presser in the kit (unless you are referring to the Horotec in the background). But pretty good! Especially from the distance that I took the picture! Almost bought the Harbor Freight set. Went to look at it but then found the one on craigslist and couldn't turn that deal down!
  3. Thanks guys. I'm extremely happy with my new find!!! Highoey - nice job! So what sort of bits and bobs can you see in there?? Let's test your knowledge
  4. Got really lucky this weekend. Found a beautiful 8 drawer wood machinists chest on craigslist for $30.00! It's in great condition. The previous owner used it for storing Darts & Accessories. Hardly used, and surprisingly no dart tip holes in the felt. Here's a few pics: Add to this the new tools from Watchbitz and I'm all set for my time zone watch making course! Oh and the watchmakers bench is well under way.
  5. Ok, I'll take a stab at this: Gen Crown & Tube MBW Case Gen Date Wheel or overlay Gen Crystal Gen Dial Gen Endlinks Not sure about the bracelet - can't see enough of it Gen Bezel? Insert looks too new to be Gen
  6. Wow...not only does he jump back onto the forum, but he actually PM'd you Mickey? Ballsy!
  7. Thanks for watching out!!! Unreal that he's already tried to get back in again
  8. That's what I was thinking to. If you are working on a movement, it would suck to have to re-case it everytime you wanted to test it. Thanks for the heads up guys!
  9. I am going to start taking the Time Zone Watch School course. I am wondering if you can test the timing of a watch movement when it is uncased? I have been looking at Watch Timers (a future purchase - way down the road). The Microset Watch Timer Pro looks quite intriguing! (Thanks to avitt for the recommendation!)
  10. I must admit I really miss dog sledding, but that's about it. I do not miss shoveling the driveway! Especially hate it when you just finish it off and then the big street cleaner comes along and piles up a giant snow drift at the end of the driveway!
  11. Very cool Tag M11! Think I'll start off today with this one: Going to a party tonight so I will probably switch over to my other white dial:
  12. Wow guys....just now noticed the request to see my favs! Here goes: #1 - My "Super-Ubi-Eddog-Ziggyfied-Justasgood" Franken Tudor 9411 #2 - My Franken DateJust #3 - My Avitt DLC'd Bell & Ross BR 03-92 #4 - My PAM 112h #5 - My most recent acquisition - The Seiko Samurai
  13. I was looking for the pic of your IWC GST Pug! Thanks for posting it up! The Breit looks great without it's crystal too!
  14. WnR..... just because you had a bad dealing with a member doesn't mean that this posting wasn't helpful and informative. And clearly Pho hasn't been banned as there would be the word "banned" underneath his avatar. I'm sorry that things went south between you two, but there's no reason to obliterate any reference to him. His posting, as noted above, was clearly helpful to some people.
  15. Awesome!!! Looks great! Would love to see another dial shot without the hour hand covering the flat 'S'
  16. That's a good reason I suppose!! Good luck with your decision!!! It's a beauty and someone is going to get a great looking 1680!! What's it got?
  17. Man that is a stunning 1680!!! Why would you want to sell it???
  18. Steam Whistle Pilsner (Canada)
