  1. Outstanding job kbiz!!! It's a sight to behold and I am always amazed at the level the folks here at RWG will go to make that perfect franken!
  2. Man that's some great looking datejusts! I really like your silver dial KBH!!!
  3. Put a logo dial in a 172 case Super nice contrast between the brushed titanium/tantalum and the polished SS bezel and CG. That would be a nice combo!
  4. There's always the Modbook Axiotron. Basically a re-packaged Macbook with no keyboard and a stylus. It's a pretty cool system, but much more expensive than an iPad. However, it has huge storage capacity, USB, Firewire, on board camera, wi-fi and bluetooth. One day I may opt to upgrade one of my Macbooks to this. If they made it multi-touch, it would be all over!
  5. I agree about the webcam. I was really surprised that one wasn't included on the iPad. Even the iPod Nano has a video camera in it! And no flash support (STILL!) is going to be an issue for a lot of people IMO. The biggest selling point is the UI. A multi-touch screen is a superb way to navigate the web and that will be it's biggest selling point for sure. Of course, if anyone here has run RWG on their iPhone, they will know that it's not that fun. I wonder if, when you logon to RWG, the default screen will be the Lo-Fi version. How will websites see the iPad? Will it be considered a mobile device and so point you to the mobil versions of banking sites, facebook, etc?
  6. Depends on the sort of style you are looking for. Do you want metal/wire frame style or more of the Buddy Holly/Plastic style frame? Or for something completely different (and expensive), check out the Chrome Hearts glasses. They make a lot of sun glasses, but they do also make frames for regular eye wear
  7. The bezel movement on this watch is superb. It's tight, yet super smooth and has a very re-assuring click to it. And how it contours to the wrist is unbelievable. It's a very heavy watch, and yet after only 30 minutes, I barely recognize that I am even wearing it.
  8. I find it intriguing. One of the rumors that was spreading around about it was that it was going to have a dock connector on the bottom and the side, so if you wanted to dock it with an accessory (like the keyboard dock) then you could use it in landscape or portrait mode. Unfortunately, they didn't do that. You can only dock it in Portrait mode. I find this very, very odd. It would have been a perfect thing for my desk if I could use it in landscape mode to watch wide screen movies, or what ever. Every computer screen on the market, whether regular or wide screen, is wider than it is tall. It will take some serious getting used to if I used it docked. I also wonder if a bluetooth mouse will ever work with it? I realize you are meant to use it as a touch screen tablet, but again, if I'm at a desk, I would want to use it as a regular computer with keyboard and mouse/trackball. It is a fascinating product though, and it's growth potential is ridiculous!!! I am really looking forward to the next year or so with the iPad.
  9. Yup....thanks to Ronin for posting that it was up on WUS! @Ronin - doubt I will be getting bored with this one any time soon, but that orange Samurai is pretty sweet too!!! @TeeJay - gotta love the custom jobs, eh??
  10. I totally agree AMK!! I like the Marine Master, but I really want this one: Seiko SBDB001 Spring Drive Dive Watch
  11. UN, you have such a huge community of folks who will all hold your daughter's speedy recovery in their hearts and thoughts. My thoughts and prayers to Ella and your family.
  12. It's amazing how much more substantial this watch feels over a Rolex diver. It feels solid! The bezel design is superb too! They sure do know how to make a solid watch!!!
  13. Definitely my favorite looking PAM lately!!! I have been lusting after one for a while now! Looks amazing Lani!
  14. I think I will continue to wear this new one for Thursday! My new, custom, Seiko Samurai!
  15. Man that is sexy!!!! $42k is a little steep though for me
  16. First of all, thanks to Ronin for this great find! He posted that there was a Seiko Samurai for sale on another forum, and after seeing pics I just had to have it! Its a white dial with custom hands and it is a sexy, and very heavy, beast!! I'll let the pics do the talking. And the wrist shot:

  18. +1 with a hell of a salary and I'm sure medical benefits too
  19. Sorry to hi-jack this, but your comment made me think of when bing.com first launched. My co-workers and I went to the new microsoft search engine and typed in "windows XP serial number" and got a ton of results!!! Maybe try doing a search in bing.com for Office 2007
  20. There will always be replicators, just like there will always be software designers making viruses for PC's. As long as there is a market for it, they will exist. They will always catch up to any and all forms of anti-counterfeiting system that the manufacturers come up with too. It may take some time, but they will do it.
  21. Lani where'd did you get the new bracelet? Will that one fit on my VC?
  22. I checked out his profile the other day and he hasn't logged on since Dec 7th. I was wondering the same thing!
