  1. Same watch for more than 24 hours? Wow Lani, that must be a record for you!
  2. I love the DLC'd rotor that you can see through the sapphire case back. Very cool!
  3. redwatch

    YEAH!

Better get started Dems! Ubi's making a run for first place today!
  4. I just use the "View New Posts" button every single minute of the day. Of course, when I go to bed and then return to the forum in the morning, I hit that button and lord knows how many new posts I have missed. I have noticed several times that my own posts aren't in the new posts lists, but when I click on "My Topics" button there are replies from during the night. So, if there is a reply, why isn't that considered a new post since I logged off the night before???
  5. Amazing Lani! Some people have no shame what so ever! Glad you were able to work it out though. Even if he didn't do it, that is the one good thing about paypal. Of course, sometimes, when you are the seller and you sell to a buyer who is a scam artist, then paypal can get in the way. But that is a story for another time!
  6. They have great stuff! I ended up upgrading my 6 watch box to an 15 slot. But I still use the 6 slot box for carrying smaller quantities around. Works great. @hackR - haven't seen the briefcase style on their store, but I have seen them on the bay occasionally. Unfortunately, they seem to cost way more than they should. I bought one of these tool cases from Harbor Freight for another project I had and then put a foam insert inside of it and modified the foam for what I needed. The case was only $25.00 and can be found here
  7. Wow ed, nice job! And you did that with just a dremel tool? I was thinking of picking up a cheap bench top grinder! So, obviously you pulled the tube out. Did you just do it by eyeing it, or did you have some sort of guide line to maintain the profile of the case?

    YEAH!

Better keep the posts up Dems. Once you get the lead, you have to try and maintain it!
  9. Turtle Creation on the bay has some great watch boxes. I got this one here. It's been great for me. And not bad for $26.00 USD Or you can check out their bay store here
  10. Wow warren.....that's one hell of a first Breitling! Congrats!
  11. Which oyster did you put it on Lani? Any new pics?
  12. Filing down the CG's. Just trying to decide which case I want to experiment with first. Probably a cheap 21j sub first, just to see how it works out. Then go from there. Basically I am going to follow the procedures that Project X follow. A Bespoke design. Taking a complete watch, and then modifying it.
  13. Looks great Lani! What is the case you used? Is that an MBW?
  14. Wow Jojo! Thanks for that posting. I had never heard of that before. So how rare are these guys?
  15. No real way of telling either. He took off the obvious tells! No CG, no cyclops and modded pearl! I agree with you, dluddy. The case with a DLC coat would finish this one off nicely. I'm not sold on the black pearl though.
  16. VC Overseas Hump day for me:
  17. Perfect Clones just released a new Day Date with the upgraded rotor. Looks decent, but its an expensive rep!!! Probably the most expensive I have seen yet! Can be found here
  18. Congrats chrgod! Definitely one of my favorites!
  19. Here's a couple of the Miyota OS10 that I was working on when I first joined: And a few more of an ETA 2836-2:
  20. Thanks S! Yeah, I am really quite pleased with the new riser set up. Takes the product shots up to a whole new level! And the silver riser is quite interesting as you can light it with different accent lights to get a whole new effect.
  21. Love the step by step photo pictorial! Well done!!! It would be great to see a pictorial of your work bench area, especially for some of the newer modders.
