  1. Tapatalk by far. It really annoys me (and surprises me) how some forums won't spend the minuscule amount of money to install their plug in.
  2. This is my favorite quote from the outcome of the election: "Someone asked me, Why did Mitt Romney lose? And I said because he got less votes than Barack Obama, that's why." New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie ®
  3. 3,500 posts??? That must mean you have at least 7,000 "fuck you's" posted around this place!!! Congrats R! Here's to the next round!
  4. That's why I want the 500E. Porsche built and a freakin tank. They seem to go forever too. Of course, they do take some effort to maintain them, but I think it's worth it. And the top end speed!!!! Oh my!
  5. Nothing like the old W124's! I'm in the market for a 500E myself. Went to a 500E GTG a couple of weeks ago and there was 10 of them there. Such an incredible car. At the moment I have a 2013 E350 and so far it's been great. Completely different engine to my 2009 E350 Sport.
  6. Love the contrast. I think that's what I like about the Tantalum PAM as well. The darker mid case and polished bezel. Nicely done!
  7. I know some of you have done this, but what is the trick?
  8. Remote Desktop works quite well. That is a pretty awesome feature
  9. Had the chance to play around with a Microsoft Surface today. I must admit its a pretty nice piece of kit. The kick stand makes this tablet work. Such a simple idea and yet it truly defines the unit. I don't know why apple didn't think of it. That fold up cover is useless. Anyways I have an iPad 3 which I like but I think I like the Surface a little bit more. Any thoughts or comments? Anyone else have one or tried one yet?
  10. Congrats!!! Here's to the next 1k!!!
  11. Wow. Grew up in Milton (neighbor to Oakville). Haven't heard that city's name in a long, long time
  12. .....that make all the difference in the world! My Tudor 7032 before: My Tudor 7032 after: It's amazing how the subdial hands and correct shaped (and color) chrono hand can make such a big difference! Thanks to everyone involved in the group buy and a huge thank you to LHOOQ & janeto72 for figuring out the paint color combo for the chrono hand. Also thanks to Gimme for helping us source the CWP hand and Modelizer for the subdial hands!
  13. Lord that Tudor Big Crown is simply gorgeous! I think I want one
  14. They are tool watches.... why baby them? I love all the little nicks & scratches in my watches. Gives them a sense of manliness!
  15. Looks good to me. You're right Nanuq, that is a 2874 which would be period correct for this watch. Love that case back too!
  16. Now that I've had a chance to view it on a larger screen, I really like what you've done. The case looks really good to me. Rehaut depth looks shallow, which is a good thing. The lugs and CG could be a little bloated. The CG could use a little thinning. Lug holes look great to me. Honestly, I wouldn't really change much other than a small amount of reshaping on the CG. In spite of it's innaccuracy, I really like the AR'd cyclops! Basically it looks like a nicely serviced 16800 to me. Only other suggestion I have is with regards to the hands. Definitely DO NOT relume them!!! If I were you I would try and find a nice set of gen lumi hands and either have them relumed to match that gorgeous patina on the dial, or try and find a set that have already aged and match the patina. I would sell the Tritium hands (or hang on to them for a more vintage project). Just my 0.02
  17. Anytime!! Let me check the pics later tonight when I'm on an actual computer. Love my iPhone but sometimes you just need that extra screen size!!
