  1. Unbelievable collection!!!! Love that Tudor MC! What's the story on that one? It looks fantastic!
  2. Live it! Great looking strap too!!!
  3. Question is, how hard will it be to source a nice BOR bracelet for this one?
  4. The way the movement spins into the case and then just sits there is quite genius. Took me a while to figure it out as I kept thinking it must be harder than this!!
  5. Yes, we should get together soon. Perhaps we should get together sooner instead of waiting for Ubi to make it down? Completely agree and thank you!
  6. It is somewhat insane. Cost to build was about $1k less than what a gen would have cost to buy outright. Bottom line though, it was way more fun and this piece will have far more meaning to me than any gen I could just buy. You've got that right I agree. It really is a great size. I do love my PAM as well, but this is just so well balanced. You know I will enjoy it!! I can't stop looking at it!! Nope..... never!!! It's the waiting, and hunting for parts that is the most fun. When you finally score that one missing piece and you know you can finally complete the build that the true joy come to fruition. For me it was when Ubi contacted me to say that he came across a set of gen hands with a really nice patina. I thought for sure it was going to be a long while before I found those hands! Feels amazing! I cannot believe it's done and finally on my wrist! I just love it! I have to admit, I have a whole new appreciation of Rolex (the old Rolex). The build quality is outstanding. The engineering it took to make this all go together so easily is quite amazing. I remember Ubi telling me that I haven't experienced anything until I've worked on a gen Rolex and I have to admit he was right. Thanks E! It sure does have some outstanding character! Although I have to laugh. When I showed it to my wife, the first thing she asked me was "Why is it so scratched?" The spider dial is mesmerizing! I keep looking at it under different light and it looks so different each time. It's like there are subtle layers to the cracking and I keep finding new patterns each time I shift the dial around. Thank you good sir
  7. Still wearing the Genenstein 168000 Triple Zero:
  8. Wow. That's a pretty interesting example. I kind of like the dial damage to be honest. Like Pete says, gives it that worn for 45 years look! A true tool watch
  9. Transitional Sub for the mid-week transition:

  11. Looking good J! New pics and new thread can be found here

  15. Just returned from a spa treatment up north. My finally completed "triple zero" 168000.
  16. Definitely should have a custom white balance setting. Check it out and it will make a huge difference to your indoor shooting
  17. Great collection and some great shots. The outdoor ones look fantastic. The indoor shots need a little work. Your white balance is way off. I did a tutorial a while back about it which you can read here. Note that the tutorial is aimed at making the adjustments in the post processing, however you can also set the white balance on most cameras these days to a custom setting. What kind of camera did you use?
  18. That is stunning! I have to agree.... I didn't really like the 3-6-9 dials before, but they are really growing on me now!!! What grill is that picture taken in front of?? Is that a Jaguar?
  19. Franken Tudor 9411 for tuesday for me as well
  20. That is awesome!!!! The bro-hood is proud of you brother!!
